Para esta ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes como he realizado un hermoso colgante infantil con cara de Rana. Lo he elaborado para ponerle un poco más de organización a Lis con los creyones. Ella generalmente es muy ordenada con los materiales escolares, pero con la Rana colgante de seguro tendrá un lindo espacio para resguardar los creyones.

I made it to give Lis a little more organization with the crayons. She is generally very tidy with her school supplies, but with the Hanging Frog she is sure to have a nice space to keep her crayons.
Lis quedó emocionada, ahora podrá colgarlo en su cuarto y colocar allí los creyones. Me ha hecho señas que le encantó el par de corazones que tiene la ranita en cada lado de la boca. Se le ha quedado observando por mucho rato, identificando las formas y figuras. Para luego romper el silencio con una gran sonrisa. Le amo, es tan dulce.
Lis was excited, now she can hang it in her room and place the crayons there. She told me that she loved the pair of hearts that the frog has on each side of her mouth. She has been observing him for a long time, identifying the shapes and figures. And then break the silence with a big smile. I love him, he's so sweet.
Los materiales que he usado para esta hermosa ranita es basicamente foami de color verde, rojo y blanco, un marcador escolar, silicon y un popote o pitillo. Lo demás es cuestión de creatividad, dibujar y cortar la ranita. Una linda opción también podría ser elaborar otros tipos de animales, como el animal favorito de nuestros niños.
The materials I used for this beautiful little frog are basically green, red and white foam, a school marker, silicone and a straw or straw. The rest is a matter of creativity, drawing and cutting the frog. A nice option could also be to make other types of animals, such as our children's favorite animal.

Proceso de Creación / Creation Process
Iniciamos cortando las piezas principales que necesitaremos para armar la ranita. Por favor ve las siguientes imágenes:

Después procederemos a armar la rana, iniciando por la panza que lleva como una bolsa que usaremos poseriormente para colocar los creyones. Fijamos seguidamente la cabeza y ojos.
Then we will proceed to assemble the frog, starting with the belly that it carries like a bag that we will later use to place the crayons. We then fix the head and eyes.

Con el marcador dibujamos cuidadosamente los detalles de la cara. Después fijamos los corazones de la sonrisa y la lengua.
With the marker we carefully draw the details of the face. Then we fix the hearts of the smile and the tongue.

Ahora fijamos las manitas y las patitas, para ello usamos silicon.
Now we fix the little hands and the legs, for this we use silicone.
Ahora le colocamos fijo el pitillo, haciendo que las manitos de la rana agarren el pitillo.
Now we fix the straw, making the frog's little hands grab the straw.
Con marcador le dibujamos algunos detalles a la ranita, así se verá más linda.
With a marker we draw some details on the frog, so it will look cuter.
Por último solo colocamos un trozo de hilo de cada lado, para así poder colgarlo facilmente. En mi caso, lo colgaré en la habitación de mi nieta Lis. Así siempre tendrá un luegar especifico para los creyones.
Finally we only place a piece of thread on each side, so we can hang it easily. In my case, I will hang it in my granddaughter Lis' room. This way she will always have a specific place for crayons.
