Welcome back to another entry on this project. Now that we have had some coats of sealer applied and sanded, we still need to rinse and repeat the process. However, today is a special entry. You'll get to see a new toy for the workshop that is going to make the job of wood finish even easier. I'll the surprise to the second part of this post.

Yet, more sanding
One cannot escape the workloads of sanding required for any woodworking project. In this case, we are just light sanding some of the finish to make the coats even and get ready for the last one. It is important to keep an eye to the kind of dust that comes out of the instrument while we are at it. We need to see only white dust coming our from the sanding. If we see any other color, it means we have reached the wood and have defeated the purpose of the finish coats.
And while we are at this stage, we can figure out if we need to apply more sealer or leave it as is. Of course we can't forget to dust off all this white residue that comes from all the sanding work.
New Toy
It's always a goal of the workshop to get tools to make the tasks at hand easier. With this air compressor, we can complete the finish of the instruments without having to leave the house or going somewhere else. It is amazing to make even this little bit of progress.
This piece of gear comes with some accessories to transport it, a handle; and some rubber feet to prevent any scratches on it or the floor. As you can see from the box it has a capacity of 6 liters and a motor with 1.5 horse power. It works at 100pci. The best part of having such tool is that we can finally apply the finish with more precision.
The best accessory in the box is definitely the fast connection. This allows us to hook the hose easily and without any leaks. It also gives us the power to remove it faster. It is a bit heavy, but for its size you can guess it is easy to move and store.
First Use
For its first use, we are given the fretboard a coat of ink to hide the imperfections we couldn't remove. To start this process, first we need to mix the sealer and ink in the correct proportions to have the results we want. This is matter of making the mixture and then adding the ink little by little, Then, trying each iteration until the results are pleasing.
Once the mix is ready, we have to prepared the paint sprayer and the compressor. That means hooking everything and giving it time to fill up the tank. Next, we have to cover some parts of the instrument where we don't want any ink. Some of it we had already done before.
The last part is adjusting the air flow from the sprayer to get the correct distribution of finish over the fretboard. Once this is ready, we start the painting process. And the idea of this part is to cover everything evenly. You can check out the last photo to make sure that's exactly what we did.

Te super felicito tanto por esta nueva adquisición que has tenido como por todas las herramientas que has sumado a tu equipo en el último tiempo, es hermoso poder invertir en uno mismo, en su emprendimiento para facilitarte el trabajo eso demuestra que estás teniendo éxito.
Pero recuerda, no te compares con nadie, el éxito depende de ti y es solo tuyo.
¿Quién se compara? Ja, ja, ja, ja. Si no hago nada, no avanzo. Solo hay que ir haciendo las cosas de la mejor manera en que se pueda con los recursos a mi disposición.
Nah, digo lo de la comparación porque a mi me ha pasado por suerte una persona más grande ayudo a darme cuenta que el éxito es personal, no todos tenemos las mismas oportunidades pero lo que logramos es propio, con nuestro esfuerzo y nuestras posibilidades y realmente me abrió los ojos
