I bring greetings to you all in this community @hivediy for you great jobs and creativity, I believe you are all doing well.

This is another design of pouch I will like to share with you and I hope you will like the beautiful outcome, the day has been a very busy day for me with lots of work to do, but notwithstanding, I just have to make sure I do what is on my mind that is making this new design of pouch with sitting base.

Before now, I have engaged in the making of different types of pouch in my blog and I am sure you will love the designs I've made so for, I just thought of making something different which I'm sure will be useful for whatever thing you so wish to put inside like phones, make up, or other items, this is so very easy and simple to achieve though I encounter some challenges when trying to get it done but that did not really affect the outcome as it can be overlooked and correct in my next project. The main challenge was that the zipper I used was smaller to the measurement of the pouch and it was too late for me to correct, every other steps was just so perfect.

The cutting and sewing process

I measured and cut out from the main fabric 19.5 x 8.5", it was replicated on lining and interfacing.

The interfacing was ironed on the wrong side of the main fabric

It was folded in two as I marked 2.5" on the base to make a square shape on both sides.

The square shape I marked was cut out on both sides.

The same was repeated on the lining as well

I made a small handle on it as I cut out 7 by 2" which was folded and sewn together.

I opened up the main fabric as I sew the zipper on the tip of it after which the lining was sewn underneath it and top stitch.

The handle was folded in two and sewn to the middle of the pouch as I sew the the zipper on it.

It was turned inside out as I sew the side by ½" downward and on the base as well, leaving the square shapes I cut out.

On the square shape, I held it together and sew it up just as seen below, leaving one side of the lining unsewn.

On the opening, I turned the pouch inside out and my pouch is ready.

This is the final outcome of my pouch with sitting base, I hope you like it, very simple and easy to make.

A sewing machine is very necessary for many tasks, at home we have one in fact it is one of the classics like yours, it was given to my partner and I did maintenance, but we only need to buy the spring of the thread puller....

It is very cool, excellent

Its end result is great. It is so elegant and stylish. Love the design of this pouch. Nice work!

Thanks so much @diyhub , I really appreciate your comment and encouragement.
