It's been a while Crafthy readers I'm pretty sure you missed my crochet tutorials and I do hope that everytime I published crochet tutorials you learned something from it and I do hope that you are with me following my craft,but first how's life ? I hope you are doing good with your everyday routine wherever you are .
So today Iam gonna share you how I did my laptop sleeve,so get ready.
March 3,my brother and I bought a laptop at SM seaside Cebu together with his girlfriend.My eldest brother help me to choose educational laptop so that it will be easier for me to make my school works. Laptop makes your work more convenient because of its wide screen and upgraded features and as a student it would be a helpful tool for me .
I decided to make e sleeve for my laptop to avoid damages, of course we've sacrifices to save money for this so we need to handle it with care .
Making this sleeve is so simple.Im this project Iam not using the milk cotton yarn I am using the chunky yarn it is ok to use milk cotton yarn but for me it would be better if I used chunky yarn .Chunky yarn are types of yarn that is thick enough and fluffy
also , although milk cotton yarn is soft and fluffy but chunky yarn is better because we want to achieve a project that we can guarantee that our things are safe and secure.Milk cotton yarn are good for making flowers, keychain and bucket hot ,but if you want to make projects that is thicker and suitable for your projects then I suggest use chunky yarns just like milk cotton chunky yarn has also variety of colors to choose.
First ,thing to do is measure first your laptop to make sure that your sleeve is fit to your laptop .By measuring you must do the single stitches for the base .
After you've done measuring continue the stitches to the other side then slip stitch.
Since we already know the exact measurements we can continue the process all the way across the projects.
One thing I love when it comes to crochet is that your developing your critical thinking skills and creativity,for example when you create a craft sometimes you will think out of the box thinking what is the best thing to do to have a fabulous outcome projects and here Iam everytime I made a craft I always make a plan ahead and visualize what is the best outcome for this.
So many chika Crafthy readers,next to do is instead of inserting into whole stitch,I chose to insert my hooks and make stitch in back loop only ( BLO) .The chunky yarn is so thick so I need to adjust the process although we can still do the whole stitch but for me I preferred the BLO process and I also like the design outcome for BLO where the edges of line are perfectly consize the way it is.
I only have few pattern and designs for this so it will be easier for you to follow this pattern Crafthy readers.
Pattern:
60 chains
3Double crochet 2nd chain from the hook( in the same chain)
Double crochet all the way around across by using back loop ( BLO )
Don't forget to slipt stitch everytime you reach the edges each round .You can adjust or re adjust depinding on your preferred size ,so for me since my laptop measured 16inches so I make 60 chains from the very start and don't forget to change the colors
When you finished your desired size ,we can now attached zipper for the lock it is more prettier when you pud zipper as a lock to secure your things inside ,you just attach the zipper all by your hand without using any sewing machine,if you know how to sew then sew it all the way until you will satisfied your projects.
Options: you can also add some design to it like keychains, flowers and many more. Anyways it depends on your likes .So for me I want simple sleeve with the combination of green and black and I guess it turns out beautiful and fabulous laptop sleeve ,and now I can carry my laptop with security that it is safe to carry wherever I go.With now hustle and convenient for me.

This is a cool idea. Even if the laptop is not entirely secured without some padding, I'm sure this still adds a layer of protection, plus it's attractive too:)
It's ok without padding because the chunky it's self is so thick you don't have to worry on it ,but anyways thank you for your complements 🥰
