Hi , Crafthy hivers it's good to be back again and another craft to be shared.
Last time I promise toy self that I will published another crochet projects but since we are a student so basically we are so busy compiling school works and thank God I was able to compile that all with no hustle ,Iam not that kind of person that I will not prioritize my hubby over my studies so right know I am just a part-time crocheter and soon is full time Crocheter hopefully manifesting.
My classmates partner in life ask me if I could make a personalize crochet tumbler holder and of course since I don't have money this time,who am I to refuse that kind of offer . Honestly this kind of skills helps me a lot in terms of financial because there are times that Iam out of budget with my allowance so through crocheting some stuff helps me to fill those needs and necessities.
Back to the topic , first thing to do when we start our project is that prepare your materials ,since my customer organized or she chose the colors she prepare,we use color powder pink,fuchsia pink and light green milk cotton yarn , together with the hook size 3.00mm after you gather and prepare your materials we can now beggin our projects.
Like we always do to begin the stitches and chain ,let's do the magic ring for the base of tumbler holder inside the magic ring you will do the 9 double crochet then slip stitch to close the ring.
Next,after you do the 9 double crochet we can proceed to round 2,in round 2 ( chain 1,2double crochet,slipt stitch)each chain all the way across,so you will come up with 18 double crochet in round 2.
Next, proceed to round 3 ( chain 2,double crochet in the same stitch,1 double crochet, increase) repeat all the way across don't forget to slipt stitch every end of the round.
Next ,round 4 ( chain 2, double crochet in the same stitch, 1double crochet,1 double crochet, increase) repeat all the way across.
Next,round 5 the last steps for the base ( chain 2 ,double crochet in the same stitch, 1double crochet,1 double crochet, 1double crochet, increase) repeat all the way across.
This is last round in doing the base of the holder .
When you finished the round 5 we will change the stitches instead of doing double crochet we will insert the single crochet in the back loop only it will serves as the edge of the base all the way to the up the don't forget the slipt stitch ate the end.
After the single crochet,repeat the double crochet pattern untill round 11.
In round 11,we will change the. Color of the yarn because we will insert the leaves of the tulips so we need to change the color of the yarn into green ( of course).This time we will perform the v- stitches. To do the v- stitch ( 5 chains ,1 double crochet in the same stitch,chain1,double crochet in the same stitch skip 2 chains ) repeat the process all the way across .
Since we are done with the leaves next is the flower ( tulips) the highlight of all the projects .To do the tulips is simply make 5 double crochet inside the v-stitch then 2 chains( 5 double crochet,2 chains ) repeat all the way across.
To continue,go back to double crochet pattern from round 13 until round 19 .
When you reach round 19 another round for tulips flower like what we did to the first part just do it again and repeat the process don't make anything complicated just follow the rules.
Ate the end of round 19, we will change the pattern from double crochet into single crochet ( Round 20 to Round 24 ) exactly reach the end or in the neck of tumbler .
And that's it crochet tumbler holder tulips is done .
I just made this for one night then tomorrow morning i return her tumbler with holder and I guess she like .
