Hello my friends of the community, I hope you are super well and with good vibes, these days I had legal size sheets and I needed them in letter size, so when I cut them I had a leftover that I did not want to throw away, nothing can be thrown away in the world of crafts and DIY! So I decided to make some beautiful and practical notepads. A perfect combination of creativity, usefulness and personalization.
Hola mis amigos de la comunidad, espero se encuentren súper bien y con buena vibra, en estos días tenía hojas tamaño oficio y las necesitaba en tamaño carta, por lo que al cortarlas me quedo un sobrante que no quería echar a la basura ¡nada se puede botar en el mundo de las manualidades y el bricolaje! Así que decidí realizar unos bellos y prácticos blocs de notas. Una combinación perfecta entre creatividad, utilidad y personalización
Materials to be used for 4 small pads:
-1 Letter-size white cardstock.
-Leftover sheets (mine are 5 cm wide by 10 cm long)
-Printer
-Scissors
-Binding machine
-Guillotine
-Binding ring
Materiales a utilizar para 4 blocs pequeños:
-1 Cartulina blanca tamaño carta
-Sobrantes de hojas (los míos miden 5 cm de ancho por 10 cm de largo)
-Impresora
-Tijera
-Encuadernadora
-Guillotina
-Anillo para encuadernar
Step by step:
- Select the 4 images of your choice, the ones you like the most for the occasion.
- Download them and place them in power point, or another word program, with that there is no problem, they have to have the same size of the surplus so that everything is aligned, the 4 images fit all in one sheet.
Paso a paso:
- Seleccionar las 4 imágenes de tu preferencia, las que más te gusten para la ocasión
- Descargarlas y colocarlas en power point, u otro programa tipo word, con eso no hay problema, tienen que tener la misma medida de los sobrantes para que quede todo alineado, las 4 imágenes caben todas en una hoja
- Then print them so they look nice and cut out each one, I use my guillotine and the scissors, you can do them just with the scissors.
- Ya luego imprimirlas que queden bien bonitas y recortar cada una, yo me ayude de mi guillotina y de la tijera, bien pueden hacerlos nomás con la tijera
- Begin to make the holes in the leftovers and the cardboard cutouts, I grouped 60 sheets of leftover sheets per pad so that they look thick and small, you decide the amount you want and have on hand.
- Empezar a realizarle los huecos a los sobrantes y a los recortes de cartulinas, yo agrupe 60 hojitas de hojas sobrantes por cada bloc para que se vean gruesitos chicos, ya ustedes deciden la cantidad que quieran y tengan a la mano
- Take the binding ring and place it in the cutter.
- Start organizing the notepads, first the bottom cover (another piece of white cardboard cut to size), then little by little the leftover pages and finally the beautifully printed cardboard cover, take them out of the binder and separate them with the help of a scissors and our personalized notepads are ready.
- Tomar el anillo para encuadernar y colocarlo en la guillotina
- Empezar a organizar los blocs, primero la tapita de abajo (otro pedacito de cartulina blanca cortada a la medida) luego poco a poco las hojitas sobrantes y ya por último la tapa de cartulina impresa bien linda, los sacas de la encuadernadora y los separas con ayuda de una tijera y ya están listos nuestros blocs de notas personalizados.
Note: Don't stop if you don't have a binding machine, you can make the holes little by little with a punch and if you don't have the binding rings you can also join them with some cool ribbon or yarn, imagination is the limit and when you want to do something we always find how to achieve it, just a positive mind.

Nota: No te pares si no tienes una encuadernadora, bien puedes ir haciendo los huequitos de a poco con un sacabocado y si no tienes los anillos de encuadernación también puedes unirlos con alguna cinta bien chula o estambre, la imaginación es el límite y cuando se quiere hacer algo siempre encontramos como lograrlos, solo mente positiva.
Así que ya saben amigos, ya sea que quieras regalarlos, venderlos o conservarlos para ti, estos blocs de notas artesanales se convertirán en un compañero fiel, guardando tus pensamientos, sueños e ideas más preciadas, son bien fáciles de hacer y te dejan una satisfacción al verlos culminados, hasta un próximo proyecto ¡se les quiere!
