Hello, friends especially DIY ers!
This time I would like to share what I made recently , a chicken with its’ two chicks, so easy to make and ended cute. You could also make it yourselves or even your children could make it themselves too.
Difficultness: Easy
Project Time: approximately 1 hours
Materials & Things Needed:
- Drawing paper
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Origami double sided paper in yellow, red, and orange
- Pearl pink origami
- Glue stick
- Paper punch
- Glitter glue in red
- Tooth pick
- Black marker
How to make it:
I measure the drawing paper to 15x15 cm size. Then I cut it off. After that I folded it in the middle so it became a large triangle then I folded the two sided to the center again. Release, then folded down one upper paper down like below, it would be a smaller triangle.
2ND
Turned around then folded both side to the bottom, met them in the center. After that, folded them into the first triangle. Voila, the basic of it already created.
3RD
I then drew the upper part of the head of the chick on the red origami, cut if off. Then I cut off the yellow origami for the beak, another red for near beak part with heart shape this time. Last, two yellow hearts for the feet.
4TH
After that I trimmed for sides of the basic white drawing paper that I folded, pasted the small parts I cut before then drew the closed eyes with the black marker. Now, the chicken is well finished. Isn’t it cute?
5TH
Now I did the same folding for both yellow smaller origami (I used 12x12 cm size). Cut the beak and both small feet with orange origami.
6TH
Next, I pasted them to the trimmed yellow folded origami. Punch the pearl pink for the cheeks, then pasted them too. Last, I added the glitter glue on the top of the chicken then I spreaded it with the toothpick.
Voila, now I have three cute book markers, a set of the chicken and her two chicks. Arent’ they so cute?
