Today I will show you how I made a wide petal monkey for my 23 month old daughter. I hope you will find this material useful.
Materiales que utilicé / Materials I used

Procedimiento / Procedure
Primer Paso:
Lo primero que hice fue tomar un monito viejo de mi hija y lo coloque debajo de la tela de algodón estampada, luego medi los centímetros que corresponde a la edad que tiene mi hija, le aumente 3 centímetros para que no le quede rápido pequeño. medi 45 cm de largo y 20 cm de ancho, luego corté para sacar la forma del talle 24 cm el largo, la parte trasera le debe quedar 2 cm más de alto, saque en total 4 partes , la delantera y la parte posterior.
First step:
The first thing I did was to take an old monkey of my daughter and place it under the printed cotton fabric, then I measured the centimeters that corresponds to the age that my daughter has, I increased 3 centimeters so that it is not fast small. medi 45 cm long and 20 cm wide, then I cut to get the shape of the size 24 cm long, the back should be 2 cm higher, I took out a total of 4 parts, the front and the back.
Segundo Paso:
Luego pase a la máquina de coser y coloqué la parte delantera enfrentados, las uni y pase costura recta, después pase costura zigzag , quedando así la parte delantera y la parte posterior.
Second Step:
I then moved to the sewing machine and placed the front facing, joined them together and passed straight stitching, then passed zigzag stitching, thus leaving the front and back.
Tercer Paso:
Coloqué la parte delantera y la parte posterior, después utilice ganchillos para sujetar y coser los laterales, después cosí la entrepierna. Todo esto primero con costura recta y luego costura zigzag.
Third step:
I placed the front and back, then used crochet hooks to pin and sew the sides, then sewed the crotch. All this first with straight stitching and then zigzag stitching.
Cuarto Paso:
Ahora vamos a coser los ruedos, vamos a doblar 1 cm y luego repetimos el proceso, después coloqué ganchillos y pase costura recta en la máquina.
Fourth Step:
Now we are going to sew the hems, we are going to fold 1 cm and then repeat the process, then I placed crochets and pass straight stitching on the machine.
Quinto Paso:
Ahora tome la elástica y cosí los laterales para hacer la unión, después la coloqué en la cintura del monito, iba cosiendo con costura zigzag y estirando, después realice un dobladillo d 1 centímetros y luego pase costura recta.
Fifth step:
Now I took the elastic and sewed the sides to make the join, then I placed it on the waist of the jumpsuit, I went sewing with zigzag stitch and stretching, then I made a hem d 1 centimeters and then pass straight stitch.
