Realizar trabajos en arcilla, me fascina, la arcilla es un material muy económico, también se puedes sacar del suelo y se ahorra más dinero. Bbrinda la oportunidad de hacer infinidades de piezas o objetos; ornamentales, utilitarias y decorativos; es una manera de adornar los espacios y lugares llenando de vida y colorido, decorar nuestras los jardines, cocinas y salas es muy bello.
Ahora estoy emocionada y motivada a volver a montar un emprendimiento, esto me impulsa a realizar diferentes piezas, para ir practicando para tener la facilidad de elaborar muchas más para poderlas exibir y al mismo tiempo compartirlas para ustedes.
Éste es un momento de entrenamiento sencillo, que no amerita gran esfuerzo, la arcilla la puedes adquirir en las ferreterías, es muy económica, también se puede extraer del suelo de algunas partes que no esté contaminadas y procesarlas. Éste angelitos lo puedes usar para recuerditos de bautizos y primera comunión, etc.

✓ Se realizan los patrones en una hoja reciclada de revista, también se hacen en hojas de cartulinas.

✓ Luego se prepara la arcilla, se le extraer el aire golpeándola contra la superficie de la mesa o mesón, después se realizan una placa delgada, se puede medir utilizando dos reglas delgadas de madera, se colocan de ambos lados de la arcilla y se aplasta con un rodillo, o trozo de palo de escoba, se trabaja sobre un pedazo de tela jean viejo, semicuero o papel reciclados, periódicos o revistas.

✓ La pieza del cuerpo se corta por la orilla y se humedece con un pincel y se agrega arcilla húmeda sin mojar mucho la pieza, luego se une bien y se limpia con una emponja o pincel grueso, así se sigue uniendo las demás partes. La cabeza se moldea una bolita y se le saca un pedacito para el cuello, se limpia bien con la brocha o pincel grueso y suave, se quita todo los restos de arcilla, se deja endurecer un poco y después se une al cuerpo, haciendo el mismo procedimiento. Luego terminado se limpia y se coloca a secar envuelto en un trozo de plástico suave, para que no se agrieten.
