Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes parte de lo que fue el proceso para pintar un cuadro de una versión diferente de la obra "La noche estrellada".
Es el tercer cuadro que pinto con este motivo para una sesión de arte, cosa que me parece súper chistosa porque ustedes dirán "ella es fan de esta obra" y la verdad es que si me gusta mucho y es la obra más gusta, sobre todo por personas que no están ligadas al mundo del arte.
Por supuesto al cliente se le da lo que pida y es lo que yo procuro hacer con las sesiones, dejar que ellos escojan el motivo y trabajar en base a eso.
Esta versión es chistosa porque en el centro del cuadro está un gran Snoopy acostado sobre su casa, y es lo que lo hace tan llamativo.
La chica que me contrató me envió la imagen de referencia y yo me puse manos a la obra.

The girl who hired me sent me the reference image and I got to work.
Una vez tenía el lienzo listo para usar, ubiqué los colores que iba a necesitar. Tracé los elementos más importantes del cuadro con ayuda de un lápiz.
Once I had the canvas ready to use, I located the colors I was going to need. I traced the most important elements of the painting with the help of a pencil.
Luego pasé a la pintura y para esto comencé a pintar el cielo con un azul rey.
Then I moved on to painting and for this I started painting the sky with a king blue.
Luego quise darle una estructura diferente a la forma en la que lo pintaría, así que pinté el gran árbol negro.
Luego me puse a darle detalles con tonos azules y verdes para generar esas ondas en su interior.
Pasé luego a las secciones del cielo, las montañas y la base de la aldea. Mientras pinto voy estructurando la forma en la que voy a explicarle a los participantes de la sesión el cuadro.
Comencé a dar detalles a las líneas en el cielo. También hice las casitas que iban en la parte inferior.
Then I wanted to give it a different structure to the way I would paint it, so I painted the big tree black.
Then I started to give it details with blue and green tones to generate those waves inside it.
I then moved on to the sky sections, the mountains and the base of the village. As I paint I structure the way I am going to explain the painting to the participants of the session.
I began to detail the lines in the sky. I also made the little houses at the bottom.
Lo último que pinté fue la casita y a Snoopy, Primero pinté todo de rojo y luego con el color negro y un pincel delineador fui dándole todos los detalles a la casa y a Snoopy.
The last thing I painted was the little house and Snoopy. First I painted everything in red and then with black and an eyeliner brush I gave all the details to the house and Snoopy.
Y así, luego de un par de horitas logré terminar mi cuadro con motivo de "la noche estrellada con Snoopy". Recuerdo el día que lo llevé a la casa de la chica donde sería la sesión de arte, cuando lo saqué sentí bastante presión pues no sabía que les iba a parecer. Me da mucha risa porque sé que mis trabajos quedan bien pero siempre siento esa tensión cuando sé que van a verlo por primera vez.
Para mi tranquilidad su reacción fue: Sacaron los teléfonos y comenzaron a tomarle fotos diciendo "aaay quedó igualito" jajaja. Eso fue un gran alivio paa mi.
No me canso la verdad de pintar cuadros así la verdad, me parece que quedan súper lindos y es un motivo, que como les comenté al principio, a todos les gusta y llama mucho la atención. Esos tonos fríos me parece que hacen mucho juego y el amarillo en el cielo le da un toque iluminado muy especial.

And so, after a couple of hours I managed to finish my painting on the occasion of “the starry night with Snoopy”. I remember the day I took it to the girl's house where the art session would be, when I took it out I felt a lot of pressure because I didn't know what it was going to look like. It makes me laugh because I know my work looks good but I always feel that tension when I know they are going to see it for the first time.
For my peace of mind their reaction was: They took out their phones and started taking pictures of it saying “aaay it looked just the same” hahaha. That was a great relief for me.
I don't get tired of painting pictures like this, I think they look super nice and it's a motif that, as I mentioned at the beginning, everyone likes and it attracts a lot of attention. I think those cold tones make a great match and the yellow in the sky gives it a very special illuminated touch.
