Hello dear friends of HiveDiy, I hope you are all well, a few days ago, a few days to tell the truth, I received the order from our friend @dayadam to take a portrait of her two special people, her cat Shira and her beautiful daughter. I had put off drawing a bit because I didn't have good quality paper to draw on, since when it comes to realistic drawings and portraits, I like to use the best I can to get a good result. She sent me several photos, of which I chose only one as a reference, I will briefly tell you what the step by step was like, I hope you like it.
Hola queridos amigos de HiveDiy, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, hace algunos días atrás, unos cuantos días a decir verdad, recibí el encargo de nuestra amiga @dayadam para hacerle un retrato a sus dos personas especiales, su gatita Shira y su hermosa hija. Había pospuesto un poco el dibujo porque no tenía un papel de buena calidad para dibujar, ya que cuando se trata de dibujos y retratos realistas, me gusta usar lo mejor que pueda para obtener un buen resultado. Ella me envió varias fotos, de las cuales elegí solo una como referencia, les comentaré brevemente como fue el paso a paso, espero les guste.

I told them that I had hoped to get good paper, I bought a thick cardboard that is used for acrylic painting and also for watercolor, this cardboard has a surface that absorbs colors very well and allows working with wet materials. I made the complete sketch of both ladies, simply with a pencil and then erased the lines and started first with the skin of the face.
Les comentaba que había esperado conseguir un buen papel, compre una cartulina gruesa que se usa para pintura acrílica y también para acuarela, esta cartulina tiene una superficie que absorbe muy bien los colores y permite trabajar con materiales húmedos. Hice el boceto completo de ambas damas, simplemente con lápiz para luego borrar las líneas y comencé en primer lugar por la piel del rostro.

In the next step I was in charge of making the face, @shinfxx who gives us a beautiful look here, I tried to make little by little each special part of his face, especially without trying to lose that shine that he has in each of his half-open eyes.
En el siguiente paso me encargué de hacer el rostro, @shinfxx quién nos regala aquí una hermosa mirada, traté de hacer poco a poco cada parte en especial de su rostro, especialmente sin tratar de perder ese brillo que tiene en cada uno de sus ojos entreabiertos.

Next, after finishing with the face, I continued doing her hair, which is very pretty, her hair was wavy, I did it by mixing dark brown and in some other parts pure black. Then proceed to mix them with a brush and mineral oil and thus blend both colors in a single layer.
Seguidamente, después de terminar con el rostro, seguí haciendo su cabello, el cual es muy lindo, su cabello así ondulado, lo hice mezclando color marron oscuro y en algunas otras partes color negro puro. Para después pasar a mezclarlos con un píncel y aceite mineral y así difuminar ambos colores en una sola capa.

Now it is the turn of our furry friend Shira, on the contrary, her skin is covered in hairs, so it is more difficult, plus she has several shades of color that make her super adorable, so I play it safe, that is, in the parts where there is dark color and so I add the rest. An important detail here is her pupils, which in the original image are not dilated, and I made that slight change when drawing her eyes, opening them a little more, since our Dayana wanted her eyes to be very expressive.
Ahora es el turno de nuestra peluda amiga Shira, ella al contrario, su piel esta cubiera de pelitos, por lo que es más dificil, además de que tiene varios tonos de color que la hacen super adorable, así que voy por lo seguro, es decir en las partes donde hay color oscuro y así voy agregando el resto. Un detalle importante aquí son sus pupilas, las cuales en la imagen original no estan dilatadas, y yo hice ese ligero cambio al dibujar sus ojos, abriéndolas un poco más, ya que nuestra Dayana quería que sus ojos estuviera bien expresivos.

I continued painting the rest of our friend Shira's body, and also the missing details, in each part of the drawing I used the brush soaked in oil and you can see how the colors become more vivid and help a lot with the volume. Finally I added the shine to the hair and that's how it was finished.
<Seguí pintando el resto del cuerpo de nuestra amiga Shira, y a´si también los detalles que faltaban, en cadda parte del dibujo utilicé el pincel empapado en aceite y pueden observar como los colores se vuelven más vivos y ayudan mucho con el volumen. Por último agregué el brillo al cabello y así quedo finalizado.
Whenever I finish a job, I am never satisfied, as the days go by I find new details to add and what to correct as well, so I will have many days to do it before @dayadam writes to me to send it to his residence, for now I will continue polishing the result.
