Greetings friends who love crafts. This time I would like to share my first diorama made inside a light bulb, as you can see in the cover photo.
It is inspired by a splinterlands character called Crustacean King. It is a miniature diorama, because the glass of the bulb is tiny, so I hope you like it. I made the character on the card coming out of the sea, being about to catch a drunken sailor resting on a rock.
Here are a couple of images, one of the diorama and one of the character I was inspired by.

Saludos amigos amantes de las manualidades. En esta ocasión me gustaría compartir mi primer diorama hecho dentro de una bombilla, tal como pueden ver en la foto de portada.
Está inspirado en un personaje de splinterlands llamado Crustacean King. Es un diorama en miniatura, pues el cristal de la bombilla es diminuto, así que espero les guste. Hice al personaje de la carta saliendo del mar, estando a punto de atrapar a un marinero borracho que descansa sobre una roca.
A continuación un par de imágenes, una del diorama y otra del personaje en el que me inspiré.

Step by step
The first thing we need is a light bulb. This can be in good condition or burned out, it doesn't matter, what we do need is that the glass is in good condition.
Paso a paso
Lo primero que necesitamos es un foco o bombillo. Este puede estar en buen estado o quemado, es indiferente, lo que sí necesitamos es que el cristal esté en buen estado.
You have to be careful when disassembling the bulb, because after all it is glass and can be cut, so you can use a thick piece of cloth to hold it while you break it. I started at the base, using a pair of pliers to remove the metal thread once it was loose.
Hay que tener cuidado al desarmar el foco, porque al fin y al cabo es vidrio y pueden cortarse, así que pueden usar un trozo de tela grueso para sostenerlo mientras lo rompen. Yo comencé a comperlo desde la base, usando un alicate para retirar la rosca metálica una vez estuvo floja.

When the metal thread is removed, the inside may be all broken, hence the importance of being careful with all these small glass particles that can be dangerous, so remember to wear gloves and glasses in this part of the process, any safety measure is necessary.
Cuando se retira la rosca de metal, el interior puede que esté todo quebrado, de ahí la importancia de tener cuidado con todas estas pequeñas partículas de vidrio que pueden ser peligrosas, así que recuerden usar guantes y lentes en esta parte del proceso, cualquier medida de seguridad es necesaria.
In addition to the bulb, I also used a small red rock that would serve as a support for the sculpture, it would be in the center of the wide part of the bulb, which would help the bulb to stay up, as you can see in the photo below, on the right.
Además de la bombilla, también usé una pequeña roca roja que serviría de soporte para la escultura, estaría en el centro de la parte ancha del foco, lo cual ayudaría a que este se mantuviera levantado, tal como pueden ver en la foto de abajo, a la derecha.

To keep the rock in place I used a mixture of glue and sawdust. The sawdust is to give volume and the glue... for that, to glue.
Para mantener la roca en su lugar usé una mezcla de pegamento con aserrín. El aserrín es para dar volumen y el pegamento pues... para eso, para pegar.
Since the glue itself has no color, I used some paint to color all the material around the rock. I used different shades to create something very similar to water.
Como el propio pegamento no tiene color, usé un poco de pintura para darle color a todo el material alrededor de la roca. Usé distintas tonalidades para crear algo muy parecido al agua.

This is what it looked like when all the mixture dried. As you can see, I added a little more glue and a small white pebble over there.
It took me a couple of days just to prepare the bulb and the base, because everything had to dry very well.
Así quedó cuando toda la mezcla secó. Como pueden observar, agregué un poco más de pegamento y una pequeña piedrita blanca por allí.
Solo en la preparación de la bombilla y la base, tardé un par de días, pues todo debía secar muy bien.
For this diorama I made a small pirate, to make it I used small pieces of plasticine and a small pin to mold it. There in the pictures you can see a comparative size of a pin with the piece I made, it is really small, because it should fit in the focus.
The first thing I did were the legs, then the torso and so I continued with the rest of the figure. Note that it takes me some work to focus the figure well, but as I said there is the size of the pin to give you an idea of how small it is.
Para este diorama hice un pequeño pirata, para hacerlo usé pequeños trozos de plastilina y un pequeño alfiler para moldearlo. Allí en las fotos pueden ver un tamaño comparativo de un alfiler con la pieza que hice, es realmente pequeña, pues esta debe caber en el foco.
Lo primero que hice fueron las piernas, luego el torso y así continué con el resto de la figura. Fíjense que me cuenta un poco de trabajo enfocar bien la figura, pero como dije ahí está el tamaño del alfiler para que se haga una idea de lo pequeña que es.

The small crustacean figure is also small, but not as small as the drunken sailor. This one is a bit bigger and the pieces were easier to make compared to the sailor. In the photo you can also see a comparison of the size of the figure with my hand.
La pequeña figura del crustáceo también es pequeña, pero no tanto como la del marinero borracho. Esta es un poco más grande y las piezas fueron más fáciles de hacer en comparación al marinero. En la foto también pueden ver una comparativa del tamaño de la figura con mi mano.

To this figure I applied a light coat of black paint to simulate dirt. Below is a photo of how this representation of the crustacean turned out.
A esta figura le apliqué una leve capa de pintura negra para simular suciedad. A continuación una foto de cómo quedó esta representación del crustáceo.
Once the figures were ready, I first placed the sailor in his place, on one of the edges of the stone, as if he were resting on a rock in the sea.
Una vez que estuvieron listas las figuras, coloqué primeramente al marinero en su lugar, en uno de los bordes de la piedra, como si estuviese descansando en una roca en el mar.
Then I placed the crustacean behind it, as if it was coming out of the sea ready to attack the sailor by surprise.
For the two pieces I used glue to fix them in place.
Luego coloqué al crustáceo detrás, como si estuviese saliendo del mar listo para atacar al marinero por sorpresa.
Para las dos piezas usé pegamento para fijarlos en su lugar.

Dañé dos bombillos intentando esto... jajajaja pero al final logré sacar este que se ve en el post, no es algo fácil de hacer y sí es peligroso porque te puedes cortar.
