Hello creative peeps! Today I would like to tell you about another hobby, in where I can lose myself, and a lot of time. I hope you like my post, and let's dive in!
How did I create these pages.
It starts with figuring out the photos I want to use, with the red pages. At the blue one with the quote I feel something about this day.

Figuring my layout
I look at what design paper I still have, and there I came across the frame with the flowers. This photo fits nice. Luckily I had another one, so it could become a spread, because well, 1 page alone is nice, but not when they are together in your booklet, 😉. Then see what fits and how you would like the layout of the pages.
And then comes the selection of matching colors of ink, because white pages are no fun. Lol. This time I opted for the I-Zink ink from Aladine. The colors Grenadine and Frambois, combined with Menthe and Emeraude and the last color Réglisse. Then picking out the background stencil, this was quite easy this time, because I only had 1 downstairs with me. Mind you, I have a hobbyroom upstairs, but since my little princess doesn't walk the stairs, I end up hobbying downstairs. I have to keep my princess company, right?
Then you first get to work with your mask stencil. Enjoy this part, it's quite fun to just smear that surface nicely. Only make sure you keep a little piece of the paper just white. When you're happy with the looks so far, then place your photo in the frame on your page and puzzle how to composition is the best. At the moment you're happy with the photo framing. Go for it, make sure it won't leave that place ever again. 😂
I glued the circle with the flower and the frame with the photo slightly raised with foam tape and made the edges black so that they stand out a bit more. Searched for (and found) another matching text and drew another doodle border. I liked them and you? If you have tips or tricks I can use, please let me know!

And then the blue pages......
My personal favorite color, blue in all shapes and sizes, ;-). I still had a whole stack of quotes that I once printed out. And when I was recently sifting through that pile, well, I suffered from a bit of a cleanup rage because of a possible future move.
When I saw these quotes and thought, I can do something with that, I didn't know what yet. Until yesterday morning, I was sitting on the couch, not feeling well because I had hurt my neck in my sleep the night before and had a little dip because of it. And then you see these quotes, you see your scraps of paper ......... and a new page spread is born!
Spontaneity is important
I then look at the quote, what do I feel about it? How do I see it ....... Lol, well in short, it arises spontaneously. I see some remnants of paper, and start thinking what can I do with it? And what is beautiful about these quotes. When I found that then you come up with the background. I still only had that one mask stencil down below, so I used that again for this background. But with different colors. Again chosen from the same ink pads, this time I felt I needed Petrol, Nuit and The. Applied with the brush through the mask stencil on the then still virgin white paper.
Which wasn't really white after that. I love it to see a white paper turning into a colored paper. Especially when I make the colors myself. Then put your papers that you want to use on the paper. Try to keep a little distance and see how you like it. And when you're like "WOW I LOVE THIS", stick it! Just keep sliding it until it's the way you feel it should be. Then add the quote, see where you like it on the page and I fixed this up again with foam tape, here too made the edges black for contrast.

Really nice! A good pastime that can distract you from the daily worries. I shared it on #listnerds for you!
Thank you sis!!
It's a great idea, we would have liked you to show the step by step so we could do it ourselves.
i will think about it next time, now it was too late to start all over again, ;-)
Oh my, that is so creative of you :) They look beautiful!
Thank you! I didn't know i was so creative untill i got daily pains and this is my distraction from it! I did know that i was a little creative because my sis and i followed workshops in the past, and we were photographing just so that we could create an scrapbook, but this kind of stuff i learned from watching live video's and than started trying.
