Saludos mis queridos artesanos y crafteros, bendecida noche para todos los que le dedicamos un poco de nuestro tiempo a esta grandiosa comunidad de #HiveDiy, mostrandole cada día más y más nuestras habilidades y mejorías, espero se encuentren bien de salud, aunque le pido disculpas por no estar con ustedes todos los días, ya que he estado un poco enferma de los riñones... pero bueno aquí estoy nuevamente con ustedes y me alegra mucho estar esta noche presentándole mi proyecto del día de hoy, el cual trata de un practico costurero. Este lindo costurero lo realice con un estuche de lentes viejo que tenia guardado, ya que no me gusta votar nada porque siempre sirve para algo, el cual lo forre por fuera con un retazo de tela raso vinotinto bordada con unas libélulas y por dentro lo forre de seda blanca, lo decore por fuera con un lacito y algunos detallitos dorados, pues amigos este viejo estuche de lentes lo convertí en un practico costurero para llevar en el bolso, porque a quien no le ha sucedido que se le desprende un botón, se le daña el cierre o se le suelta el ruedo del pantalón. Bueno esta es una idea genial verdad! y lo mejor de todo que lo puedes personalizar o simplemente lo puedes reutilizar para guardar tus lentes. Amigos, no se pierdas el paso a paso para convertir un viejo estuche de lentes en un practico costurero. ¡¡Vamos manos a la obra!!
Greetings my dear artisans and crafters, blessed night for all of us who dedicate a little of our time to this great #HiveDiy community, showing you more and more our skills and improvements every day, I hope you are in good health, although I apologize for not being with you every day, since I've been a little ill with my kidneys... but well here I am with you again and I am very happy to be here tonight presenting my project today, which deals with a practical sewing box. I made this cute sewing box with an old glasses case that I had saved, since I don't like to vote anything because it always serves something, which I lined on the outside with a piece of burgundy satin fabric embroidered with some dragonflies and on the inside I lined it made of white silk, I decorated it on the outside with a bow and some golden details, well, my friends, I turned this old eyeglass case into a practical sewing box to carry in your bag, because whoever has not had a button come off, the zipper is damaged or the hem of the pants comes loose. Well this is a great idea right! and best of all you can customize it or you can simply reuse it to store your glasses. Friends, don't miss the step by step to turn an old glasses case into a practical sewing box. Let's get to work!!

1: Iniciamos limpiando bien nuestro estuche para lentes, pegamos con silicon algunas partes que están despegadas dentro del estuche, luego procedemos a forrarlo con la tela de seda, vamos introduciendo la tela por el borde del estuche poco a poco y le colocamos silicon, hasta forrarlo todo por dentro, luego cortamos 8 cm de cinta vinotinto y la pegamos en la separación de las tapas.
1: We start by cleaning our lens case well, we glue some parts that are unglued inside the case with silicone, then we proceed to line it with silk fabric, we introduce the fabric along the edge of the case little by little and we put silicone on it, until we cover everything inside, then we cut 8 cm of burgundy tape and stick it on the separation of the lids.
2: Ya forrado por dentro nuestro estuche, ahora procedemos a forrarlo por fuera con la tela raso vinotinto, como pueden ver en las imágenes.
2: Once our case is lined inside, now we proceed to line it on the outside with the burgundy satin fabric, as you can see in the images.
3: Ahora procedemos a decorar nuestro estuche, para eso tomamos la cadena dorada y la pegamos por el borde de la tapa superior, luego tomamos la tela de seda blanca y cortamos un circulo,le realizamos varias puntadas por el alrededor y lo rellenamos con un poco de guata el cual lo usaremos para introducir los alfileres, luego lo pegamos a nuestro estuche como pueden ver en la imagen.
Seguidamente tomamos un tubito donde viene el hilo y le realizamos varias aberturas para colocar unos botones y en la parte superior de adentro le pegamos 3 cm de elástica para sujetar una pequeña tijera y a los hilos también lo sujetamos con cinta elástica.
3: Now we proceed to decorate our case, for that we take the golden chain and stick it on the edge of the upper cover, then we take the white silk fabric and cut a circle, we make several stitches around it and fill it with a little wadding which we will use to insert the pins, then we glue it to our case as you can see in the image.
Next we take a tube where the thread comes from and we make several openings to place some buttons and on the upper part of the inside we glue 3 cm of elastic to hold a small scissors and we also fasten the threads with elastic tape.
Listo, este es el resultado final de mi lindo y practico costurero para llevarlo en mi bolso.¡Espero les haya gustado mi proyecto de hoy y se animen a realizar este lindo costurero.
