El día de hoy les comparto un dibujo de una de mis criaturas mitológicas favoritas, tratándose de Medusa, donde según cuentan las leyendas, se trataba de la mujer más hermosa de esa era, donde la envidia hizo que Zeus la convirtiera en medusa para petrificar a todo hombre que la mire a los ojos.
Así que en esta ocasión quise compartirles este dibujo al estilo Pixel Art, espero les guste.

Today I share with you a drawing of one of my favorite mythological creatures, Medusa, where according to legends, she was the most beautiful woman of that era, where envy made Zeus turn her into Medusa to petrify every man who looks into her eyes.
So this time I wanted to share with you this drawing in Pixel Art style, I hope you like it.

Para comenzar a realizar este dibujo, primero comencé creando un círculo en medio de mi lienzo, después tracé 3 líneas, una vertical y otra horizontal, ya que quería que mi dibujo tuviera la posición frontal.
Seguidamente, comencé a aclarecer esta capa para poder dibujar sobre esta la silueta de mi personaje, momentos después eliminé la capa anterior para que se pudiera apreciar solamente la silueta de mi dibujo.

To begin to make this drawing, first I started by creating a circle in the middle of my canvas, then I drew 3 lines, one vertical and one horizontal, since I wanted my drawing to have the frontal position.
Next, I began to lighten this layer to be able to draw on it the silhouette of my character, moments later I eliminated the previous layer so that only the silhouette of my drawing could be appreciated.

Luego de realizar la silueta de mi personaje comencé a usar un pincel borrador para marcar de color rojo todos y cada uno de los píxeles que se vieran escalonados en mi dibujo, ya que estos píxeles no se pueden ver porque le quita un poco más de limpieza a mi dibujo, esta es una nueva técnica en el arte del pixel art que aprendí hace unos días.
Una vez eliminados los píxeles de color rojo que les mencione anteriormente, podremos notar una diferencia en el dibujo, ahora se puede ver un poco más limpio y atractivo.
Acto seguido comencé a valorizarlo, usando colores planos como el color carne y color amarillo y anaranjado para algunas hebras de su cabello, que en este caso son serpientes, pero como aún no tengo mucha experiencia dibujando serpientes, lo quise hacer de esta manera por ahora.

After making the silhouette of my character I started to use an eraser brush to mark with red color each and every one of the pixels that were staggered in my drawing, since these pixels can not be seen because it takes away a little more cleanliness to my drawing, this is a new technique in the art of pixel art that I learned a few days ago.
Once eliminated the red pixels that I mentioned before, we can notice a difference in the drawing, now it can be seen a little more clean and attractive.
Then I started to enhance it, using flat colors like flesh color and yellow and orange for some strands of his hair, which in this case are snakes, but as I still don't have much experience drawing snakes, I wanted to do it this way for now.

Luego comencé a trabajar en algunas sombras y profundidades del rostro, le agregue un poco de maquillaje en los ojos y le di vida a sus ojos, pinte los labios con otros colores para poder resaltar la belleza de esta criatura.
Más adelante comencé a trabajar en las profundidades de las hebras del cabello y trabajar en algunas joyas que tiene en el mismo, terminando de cerrar todas las profundidades y sombreados que tiene mi personaje.
De esta manera pude realizar mi dibujo del día, muchas gracias por haber llegado hasta aquí en mi publicación, espero les sea de su agrado, hasta la próxima.

Then I started to work on some shadows and depths of the face, I added some eye makeup and gave life to her eyes, I painted the lips with other colors to highlight the beauty of this creature.
Later I started to work on the depths of the hair strands and work on some jewels that she has in her hair, finishing closing all the depths and shading that my character has.
