My passion for art and my desire to prove it moved me into producing a special craft work today. Right from infancy, I love producing things by myself and when does, it gives me added joy seeing my handicraft.
Science students always boast of their science knowledge as if art students are nothing. I think, it's time to show and prove to them that art brings great joy.
From now on, I want to be proud of my course and talent. it's my pride and joy. It's something that no science student can produce. Something that brings out the talent in me.
Alright, in today's package, am going to showcase how I formed and produced pom-pom heart with wool. It's simple but mighty. The outcome is amazing. After going through this post and practicing it, you will start giving art students their required respect. Hehe.
So, below are the tools I used.
- White and black wool
- Scissors
- Candle gum
- tiny plastic bead
- Candle 🕯️
- Hand needle
- Fork
How I made use of all the above tools in forming my pom-pom heart ❤️
First, I cut a piece of wool, place it at the middle of the fork
Then, I placed and rolled the black wool round the fork for about 45×. Then, I tied it with the one I placed on the fork earlier.
After tying, (the first tying) I shifted it out from the fork and then I tightened it.
Next, I cut round the wool with the help of my scissors ✂️ excluding the one I tied it with.
I repeated same process for the white wool.
I also rolled both black and white wool in the same fork together. This is actually what I mean👇
The pom-pom heart particles are now ready. All we need to do now is to fix them up together to form our pom-pom heart 💜.
To achieve my craft, I light up my candle, place the tip of the candle gum in it to melt a bit ( to form gum).
As soon as it formed gum, I applied it on the side of the small pom-pom wool. (on both the white one and the black one). Immediately, I gummed both together.
Next, I applied same gum on the 2in1 pom-pom wool. After applying, I then gummed the former and then later together
To get the actual shape, I trimmed it round. After trimming, I passed a rope at the small plastic bead, tied it, and then soak a piece amount of gum in it. After soaking, I gummed it on the top of the pom-pom heart ❤️.
Whaooaoh, My pom-pom heart is readyyyyyyy!!!!!!. The look is beautiful and I think, the chosen colors are quite pretty.
