Es propicia esta época, sobre todo por estar preparándonos ante la llegada de la navidad en fijarnos en algunos detalles que requieran un arreglo y más si estos están en un lugar muy visible que puedan opacar ese espacio donde están, en este caso cuando me toco ordenanar y limpiar un mueble que forma parte de la decoración de la sala y que están colocadas fotos de mi familia, pude darme cuenta y a la vez quede asombrada de un portaretrato que se había manchado, se notaba muy deteriorado, lo cual, necesario era reemplazarlo o tratar de recuperarlo.

No podía ser de otra manera que pintandolo, porque de momento pensé en forrarlo con algún papel, pero lo que me hizo cambiar de idea es que este portaretrato tiene figuras de relieve, lo cual, era muy importante resaltar esos detalles que algunas vez lo hicieron ver llamativo.
De varias ideas y viendo lo que tenía guardado, en el cual, la intención antes que nada en este arreglo es ahorrar y no hacer gastos extras, se me ocurrió probar con maquillaje que no uso, y que ya había descartado desde hace algún tiempo, hay cosas que acumulo porque siempre terminan sirviéndome para algo, como la recuperación de este portaretrato.
Al revisar contaba con lápices de ojos en colores metalizados verde y azul, además una sombra en polvo dorada que desde el primer momento que la use, tuve que descartarla por incomodidad de la vista.
It could not be any other way than painting it, because at the moment I thought of lining it with some paper, but what made me change my mind is that this portrait has relief figures, which was very important to highlight those details that sometimes made it look flashy.
From several ideas and seeing what I had saved, in which, the intention before anything else in this arrangement is to save and not to make extra expenses, it occurred to me to try with makeup that I do not use, and that I had already discarded for some time, there are things that I accumulate because they always end up serving me for something, as the recovery of this portrait.
When I checked it, I had green and blue metallic colored eye pencils, plus a golden powder shadow that I had to discard from the first moment I used it because it was uncomfortable to look at.
Estos tres tonos me parecieron que hacían una combinación genial, además, estuvieron idóneos para cubrir estas imperfecciones, sobre todo porque la textura del material era porosa con pequeñas grietas, que el lápiz por ser cremoso cubríria totalmente estos espacios.

Luego de cada aplicación con el lápiz le pasaba un paño húmedo para que se impregnara bien el color y luego aplicaba la sombra dorada. En cada parte que iba trabajando resultaban estos tonos un bonito matiz que me animaba a continuar hasta cubrirlo todo.

Para finalizar, era necesario aplicar como una especie de sellado, por ser lo indicado para mejorar la apariencia en algunas manualidades, por lo que se me ocurrió utilizar pintura de uña, vale decir que he visto el uso de esmalte para arreglos de bisuteria y bueno se me vino esa idea de utilizarlo simulando un barniz, éste era escarchado en un tono plata, viéndolo perfecto para lo que quería lograr, que era resaltar sus figuras y recuperararlo por completo.
Finally, it was necessary to apply as a kind of sealing, as it is indicated to improve the appearance in some crafts, so it occurred to me to use nail polish, it is worth saying that I have seen the use of enamel for costume jewelry arrangements and well I got the idea to use it simulating a varnish, this was frosted in a silver tone, seeing it perfect for what I wanted to achieve, which was to highlight their figures and recover it completely.
Quedé muy satisfecha y me agrado el resultado, estuve a poco de botarlo pero al ver los precios de éstos, sobre todo los que tienen cubierta de metal, me dije hay que intentar hacer algo y que mejor forma con un maquillaje reciclado que tuvo una oportunidad de provecho.
