Feliz comienzo de carnavales queridos amigos de HIVEDIY 🎭💖
Desde ya comienzan las fiestas alusivas a los carnavales en mi país y es por esto que me ha parecido genial la idea de hacer unas lindas máscaras y lucirlas en estas fiestas, esta linda manualidad estará inspirada en los seres más tiernos de este mundo, los gatos y específicamente mis gatos Negro y Tesoro 🐈⬛🐈⬛, acompáñame a hacer estas lindas mascaras:

The carnival parties in my country are already starting and that is why I thought it was a great idea to make some nice masks and wear them at these parties, this cute craft will be inspired by the most tender beings in this world, cats and specifically my cats Negro and Tesoro 🐈⬛🐈⬛, join me in making these cute masks:

Amo los gatos y todo lo que tenga que ver con ellos, en casa tenemos 2 consentidos llamados Negro y Tesoro, ellos son parte de nuestras vidas y siempre están presentes así que por eso decidí inspirarme en ellos y hacer dos lindas máscaras tratando de copiar el diseño de su pelaje, estas máscaras serán mi decoración para este 2025, aquí les dejo la lista de materiales a utilizar:
- Foamy o goma Eva de varios colores
- silicone
- tijeras
- marcadores
- lapiz
I love cats and everything that has to do with them, at home we have 2 spoiled ones called Negro and Tesoro, they are part of our lives and are always present so that's why I decided to be inspired by them and make two cute masks trying to copy the design of their fur, these masks will be my decoration for this 2025, here is the list of materials to use:
- Foamy or EVA rubber of various colors
- silicone
- scissors
- markers
- pencil

STEP BY STEP
Para comenzar vamos a hacer la figura de la cara de gato, en una hoja de reciclaje haré la figura que deseo, doblamos la hoja a la mitad y dibujamos el contorno de la máscara haciéndole las orejitas y parte de sus pelitos, no será necesario al principio dibujar la cara completa, luego recortas y ya tendrás la forma de la máscara completa, yo haré 2.
To start we are going to make the figure of the cat's face, on a sheet of recycled paper I will make the figure I want, we will fold the sheet in half and draw the outline of the mask making the little ears and part of its hair, it will not be necessary to draw the entire face at first, then cut it out and you will already have the shape of the complete mask, I will make 2.

A cada máscara le haré un diseño diferente ya que mis gatos tienen su pelaje distinto uno de ellos tiene gran parte de su rostro en color negro y la otra parte en blanco, mi otro gato es gris igual con blanco, primero procederé a cortar la figura completa en foami color blanco, eso será la base para ambas máscaras, luego daré la forma en el Foami negro y gris como corresponde para cada uno.
I will make a different design for each mask since my cats have different fur, one of them has a large part of its face in black and the other part in white, my other cat is gray as well with white, first I will proceed to cut the complete figure in white foam, that will be the base for both masks, then I will give the shape in black and gray foam as appropriate for each one.

Luego procederé a hacerle los demás detalles, las orejitas y la nariz las cortaré en foami color piel, los cachetes en blanco, luego procederé a pegar con Silicon, lo ideal es hacerlo con Silicon caliente, pero en esta oportunidad no pude comprarlo, así que lo hice con Silicon frío, con este Silicon es un poco complicado, pero con un poco de paciencia se puede lograr, al estar secas todas las partes le hice algunos detalles con marcador.
Then I will proceed to make the other details, the ears and nose will be cut out of skin-colored foam, the cheeks in white, then I will proceed to glue with Silicon, the ideal is to do it with hot Silicon but this time I couldn't buy it so I did it with cold Silicon, with this Silicon it is a bit complicated but with a little patience it can be achieved, Once all the parts were dry, I added some details with a marker.
Ya casi están listas las máscaras,🎭 pero falta un detalle, los carnavales son coloridos, entonces pensé en hacerle algo que llamara la atención, corte 6 rectángulos de diferentes colores, las medidas de 6 cm de ancho por 10 cm de largo, luego de manera individual doble a la mitad y les di la forma como si fuesen plumas, en mis imágenes muestro como debe quedar.
The masks are almost ready but one detail is missing, carnivals are colorful, so I thought of making something that would draw attention, I cut 6 rectangles of different colors, measuring 6 cm wide by 10 cm long, then individually folded them in half and shaped them as if they were feathers, in my images I show how it should look.

Ahora sí para finalizar le coloqué 3 plumas a cada máscara pegándolas por la parte de atrás, luego le pegué los bigotes a cada máscara, no le voy a colocar hilo ya que mis máscaras son para decoración, pero puedes colocarle hilo elástico y usarlas y así ya están listas estas lindas máscaras inspiradas en mis hermosos gatos 🤭🐈⬛💕
Now to finish I placed 3 feathers on each mask gluing them to the back, then I glued the whiskers to each mask, I am not going to put thread on them since my masks are for decoration, but you can put elastic thread on them and use them and these cute masks inspired by my beautiful cats are ready 🤭🐈⬛💕
