Una puerta de cartón / A cardboard door

Hola amigos de la comunidad Hive Diy, hoy les quiero mostrar una manualidad muy entretenida que hice para mi perrita Iris y no crean que fue el disfraz, no, no soy tan hábil a la hora de coser suéteres para perro, pero si hice la escenografía, para lograr unas fotos diferentes.

Iris es una chica de 4 años, muy activa, por eso va a una guardería canina donde juega en las mañanas y para el 27 de octubre deben ir disfrazados, además de enviar una fotografía con el disfraz, para que a través de "likes" se seleccione un ganador. Esta clase de cosas no me agradan, porque no tengo suficientes amigos para lograr muchos votos, sin embargo, si me gusta que Iris salga bien, bonita, graciosa y resalte entre los demás. Por eso, como hace 2 años le compré este disfraz de Sullivan el monstruo grande de la película Monsters Inc. Decidí hacer una puerta rosada para poner al fondo y lograr una foto mas linda.

Hello friends of the Hive Diy community, today I want to show you a very entertaining craft I made for my dog Iris and don't think it was the costume, no, I am not so skilled when it comes to sewing dog sweaters, but I did make the scenery, to achieve some different photos.
Iris is a 4 year old girl, very active, so she goes to a dog daycare where she plays in the mornings and by October 27 they must go dressed up, plus send a picture with the costume, so that through "likes" a winner is selected. I don't like this kind of thing, because I don't have enough friends to get many votes, however, I do like that Iris comes out well, pretty, funny and stands out among the others. That's why, since 2 years ago I bought her this costume of Sullivan the big monster from the movie Monsters Inc. I decided to make a pink door to put in the background and get a cuter picture.

Para esta manualidad necesité:

Caja de cartón grande.
Pinturas rosada, morada, negra, gris, blanca, amarilla, roja.
Silicona caliente
Tijeras, pinceles.

Tome la caja por la parte más amplia y empecé a pintar con pintura rosada y blanca para obtener algunas rayas que dieran la apariencia de madera. También se pintaron detalles en la puerta, como flores y figuras, tomando como referencia la puerta de la película. En los bordes coloqué pintura negra y en el borde inferior pinté rayas amarillas y negras.

For this craft I needed:

Large cardboard box.

Paints pink, purple, black, gray, white, yellow, red.

Hot glue, scissors, brushes.

I took the box by the widest part and started painting with pink and white paint to get some stripes to give the appearance of wood. I also painted details on the door, such as flowers and figures, taking as a reference the door of the movie. On the edges I put black paint and on the lower edge I painted yellow and black stripes.

La puerta, lleva en la parte superior, un círculo rojo y a los lados, unas pestañas que la sostienen. Es que si no han visto la película, les cuento que hay millones de puertas, las de cada armario del mundo y es por donde ingresan los amigos como Sullivan para asustar a los niños. Entonces, cada vez que van a entrar a alguna habitación, la puerta desciende y el monstruo entra, para eso,la puerta debe llegar a estos soportes. Estas partes las elaboré con cartón y ls pinté de negro. Solo faltaba colocar un fondo oscuro que lo hice con bolsas de basura y listo, puse a Iris a posar con su disfraz peludo.

The door has a red circle on the top and on the sides, some tabs that hold it. If you have not seen the movie, I tell you that there are millions of doors, those of every closet in the world and that is where friends like Sullivan enter to scare children. Then, every time they go into a room, the door descends and the monster enters, for that, the door must reach these supports. I made these parts out of cardboard and painted them black. The only thing left to do was to place a dark background, which I made with garbage bags and ready, I put Iris to pose with her furry costume.

Aún no se publica la foto y aunque será difícil conseguir los Likes, sí me queda ka satisfacción de haber elaborado una linda puerta para complementar el dizfras de Iris para la fiesta de Halloween 2023. El cartón es de esos materiales manejables, que se pueden pintar, moldear y acondicionar según lo que se necesite. Los invitó a hacer sus propias creaciones, porque de cada obra que hagan con amor, seguro saldrá algo grandioso.

The photo is not yet published and although it will be difficult to get the Likes, I am satisfied to have made a nice door to complement Iris's dizfras for the Halloween 2023 party. Cardboard is one of those handy materials that can be painted, molded and conditioned as needed. She invited you to make your own creations, because from every work you do with love, something great is sure to come out of it.
