Candle painting| Art is my life

in Hive Diy2 months ago (edited)

Hello everyone,
hope you all are well. Today I am here with a new painting. I was looking for some painting references on Pinterest.

This image was taken from Pinterest as a reference.
And I liked this candle painting so much that I thought of recreating it.

I have always created paintings of natural landscapes, so I thought I'd try something new this time. So let's get started.

First I used yellow for the candlelight. I started creating the background with that.

Now I added some black, white, orange brown and skin colors. And then with the help of a wet brush I merged all these colors. Almost half of the background is complete.

The background colors kept bugging me. Because sometimes one color was too much or too little. Sometimes black was too much and sometimes yellow. But after half an hour of hard work, the background color finally became okay.

Sometimes I listen to songs while I paint, and painting + singing feels like I'm in another world. It doesn't matter what my mood is, when I'm painting or sketching, my mood is always better than before.

Just like white and black are very important in painting, but today I ran out of white paint and I forgot the rest of the colors in the hostel.

I was telling my mother that when you have to go to the market, bring me a box of acrylic colors. Then I worked on the few white colors and finally the candle was complete. I was happy that I completed this painting of mine before the white color ran out.

I looked at the clouds, it was looking very nice and pleasant, and I clicked a picture of it.

The candle was complete, so I started working on the book lying nearby, and it didn't take much time, and it was almost night, so I thought of finishing it quickly because the light would have gone out and I wouldn't be able to see anything. In fact, I was sitting outside making it because it's more fun to make it in the open air.

Here are the final results. I had a lot of fun while making this painting and I am still working on a new painting and as soon as it is complete I will share it with you.

Stop, stop, don't go yet, I've missed a quote.😁

"A candle burns not for itself, but to brighten the world around it."

See you in next article.
