Today i am here to shate a very interesting diy post which is all about how i fixed a broken water pipe in my compound. I feel this is interesting and it will be helpful to the readers to learn new idea from me.
Looking at the picture above, you will see that the water pipe was broken at the middle and also at albow and the was serious linkage, when water is being pump the water finish so fast so i have to check around and i discover this.
The bad of it all the way no stopcock to off the water at that point unless i off it from the tank which affer everyone so the was no other options to fixed it has fast has possible.
Today i will love to share should steps i follow to fixed the broken pipe
Materials needed
- Stopcock
- Albow
- Plumbing gum
- saw etc
Firstly i cut the pipe from where i have the linkage, cut the old albow out took.
At this point, to join the pipe back the length will reduce so the make the length reach, that is the reason i bought the stopcock. I suppose to go for a new pipe but for emergency purpose i choose stopcock so that if water have problem at that point i can easily off it without affecting others.
I then apply gum on the both end of the stopcock and the pipe i am about to gum together.
I then bring then together and here is the outcome of it.
I then proceeded to place the Albow, but applying gum at both end of the Albow and the pipe and the bring them together and gum it.
Finally the work is done.
That was how simple it take me to fixed the broken water pipe at my compound and i believe if you this happen to you, you can do it yourself if you go through the process.
Is just to get the needed material from a plumbing shop because if you call a professional to help you out on this small thing he will charge you high for his time, transport, and his profession, so the are some things you need to know how to do it my your self.
