Voy a empezar la semana apartándome un poquitín de mis quehaceres, para complacer a una querida amiga, resulta que el 2020 hice la decoración de un espejo para mí baño; como la artesana que soy me gusta que las piezas tengan un toque rústico pero a la vez me atrae el romanticismo; entonces sonriendo dije en broma lo voy a decorar al estilo Shabby Chic; me quedo muy bonito de hecho lo publique en la comunidad de GEMS tuvo buena apreciación y fue muy elogiado gratamente para mí.
Bueno mi amiga ayer me trajo un espejo y me dijo siempre he querido uno como el de tu baño, las flores en la decoración nunca pasan de moda, así sea vintage el estilo.
Le dije que era cierto, pero que la decoración de mi espejo no era vintage o cosecha, sino otro estilo que ambos tienen parecido pero diferentes porque Shabby Chic se va para el lado romantico, casi siempre se usan colores suaves, ramos, motivos florales que es muy femenino, porque en realidad es una mezcla entre lo clásico y lo contemporáneo, bueno después de dictarle esa clase de arte; su respuesta fue: decorame el espejo mujer que ya tienes una parte avanzada el es muy contemporáneo lo compre en los chinos, jajaja.
Ahorita una amiga Lee esto y pone en duda la veracidad de los hechos.
Total que agarre el espejo, una revista vieja y lean hasta el final para que vean como reciclando materiales decore el espejo de mi amiga;

Para decorar el espejo usé flores hechas con papel de revistas y las hice de la manera siguiente:
Corté varios cuadrados de 8x8 de papel de revista para cada flor utilice seis y los trabaje así: doble el cuadrado en forma de triángulo, luego le hice plices y doble a la mitad, los coloqué uno encima de otro y los pegue con la pega blanca, como en la foto.

To decorate the mirror I used flowers made from magazine paper and made them as follows:
I cut several 8x8 squares out of magazine paper for each flower I used six and worked them like this: fold the square into a triangle shape, then pleated it and fold it in half, put them on top of each other and stick them with the white glue , as in the photo.
Vamos a realizar las hojas con papel lustrillo verde así como en las fotos.

Ahora decoremos el espejo: vamos tomando cada flor y las colocamos a un lado del espejo; luego pegamos las hojas, por último elaboró una mariposa con la misma técnica de las flores y la pongo del otro lado, ver las fotos.

Creativos, así quedó el espejo decorado con material de provecho, esta idea es precisa para ver cómo con materiales en desuso de los que tenemos en casa podemos realizar cualquier clase de manualidad para decorar ambientes; ayudando a no permitir la contaminación ambiental.
