La iluminación secundaria a través de velas está totalmente en tendencia, aunque confieso que me da un poco de miedo tener velas encendidas en casa, sobre todo porque soy un poco despistada y puedo olvidar apagarlas al salir de casa o al ir a dormir, pero a pesar de eso, decidí hacer un porta velas para complementar la decoración en casa, pero en lugar de las velas reales, decidí utilizar las velitas con baterías que abundan en el mercado, y el resultado se los comparto el día de hoy.
The secondary lighting through candles is totally in trend, although I confess that I'm a little afraid of having candles lit at home, especially because I'm a little absent-minded and I can forget to turn them off when leaving home or going to sleep, but despite that, I decided to make a candle holder to complement the decor at home, but instead of real candles, I decided to use the candles with batteries that abound in the market, and the result I share with you today.
Para este porta velas por supuesto que utilicé el reciclaje, y en este caso, nuevamente eché mano de los envases de vidrio que tengo almacenados en casa y con hilo de lana realicé una decoración que me pareció bastante linda, además al utilizar fibras naturales, le aporté un poco de calidez al mueble donde lo coloqué, creando una composición que me encantó, así que les comparto los materiales y el paso a paso, que como siempre es bastante sencillo.
For this candle holder of course I used recycling, and in this case, again I used glass containers that I have stored at home and with wool yarn I made a decoration that I found quite nice, also by using natural fibers, I brought a little warmth to the furniture where I placed it, creating a composition that I loved, so I share with you the materials and the step by step, which as always is quite simple.

Para comenzar con el proyecto, lo primero que hice fue lavar muy bien el envase de vidrio, que en este caso es uno pequeño, pero ustedes pueden utilizar el tamaño de su preferencia.
To start with the project, the first thing I did was to wash the glass container very well, which in this case is a small one, but you can use the size of your preference.
Lo siguiente fue medir y cortar tiras del hilo unos 5cm más largos que el envase y con ayuda de la pistola de silicón los fui pegando al envase de vidrio siguiendo un patrón para crear un diseño.
The next step was to measure and cut strips of thread about 5cm longer than the container and with the help of the silicone gun I glued them to the glass container following a pattern to create a design.
Comencé pegando tres tiras del hilo, dejando una pequeña separación entre ellas, y seguidamente con dos hilos unidos hice un entorchado, pegué en el borde superior, y fui repitiendo el mismo patrón por todo el envase creando un diseño muy lindo.
I started by gluing three strips of thread, leaving a small gap between them, and then with two threads joined together I made a twist, glued on the top edge, and repeated the same pattern all over the container creating a very nice design.
Con el hilo que sobresalía del envase de vidrio, lo que hice fue que con ayuda de mis dedos deshice cada uno de ellos y al tratarse de lana quedó con bastante volumen, y con ayuda de la tijera lo emparejé por todo el borde, dando un toque precioso a este proyecto.
With the yarn that was sticking out of the glass container, what I did was that with the help of my fingers I unraveled each one of them and since it was wool, it was left with enough volume, and with the help of the scissors I matched it all around the edge, giving a beautiful touch to this project.
Y para finalizar, coloqué dentro la velita, y el resultado es simplemente precioso, justo lo que yo quería, y en perfecta armonía con toda mi decoración, y la verdad fue un proyecto súper sencillo de hacer y por supuesto "low cost". ¿Te animas a realizarlo en casa?
