Fire Beetle From Splinterlands

in Hive Diyyesterday (edited)

Hello guys. Hope you are all doing well. I'm back in this community after a long time with a fanart of a Splinterlands character. It's pretty sunny today and I hope you all are enjoying the sunshine like me. Do you remember the last time I made a fanart of Epona, a character from Splinterlands and her golden hair was adorable.

Today I made a fanart of the Splinterlands character is like a big insect and it has a fire in its belly and it seems very dangerous. I tried my best to design a good sketch of it and I use the dark colors to make it realistic. Hope you like my drawing. Let's start with the procedure.

Material

  • Sketch Pencil
  • White Paper
  • Rubber
  • Black Pointer
  • Pencil Colors
  • Marker Colors

Procedure

You can see how complicated and difficult this character. Before sketching it, I was wondering if I could sketch it well or not. It will not be wrong to say that taking the first step is always very difficult. I first started sketching his face which was not easy. Then I made a sketch of his legs. It was easy to make his legs.

I think it's a poisonous insect and when it bites it transfers the poison through its teeth and it is very strange that it has a fire in its stomach. I sketched it very carefully because it is very complicated and I tried my best to make a good sketch. It took me about an hour to get a good sketch.

After finishing the sketch, I rested for a while because when I spend more than an hour on a drawing, the water flows to my eyes. After resting for a while, I started working on it again. Now I first filled the red color in his eye which makes him more dangerous.

Now I added dark brown color to the lower part of his belly to make the character look dangerous and bright. Her legs which are very thin and nails which are like thorns I painted them black. In the two thorns front of his mouth I filled the purple color and they look the most venomous.

Now I used pencil colors to make her belly fire because they are lighter and lighter colors will make the fire look more realistic. I tried my best to design the fire with yellow, orange and brown colors because when you look at this character the first thing which you see is fire and I wanted to make it very realistic. Then I added black color to its top and finally I outlined it with a black pointer so that its body parts look clear and easy to understand the parts of the insect. I completed this entire drawing in about three hours. Hope you like my drawing. I will wait for your feedback.
