Ya saben que me gusta muho hacer stickers para pegar en mi pared de personajes de caricaturas o películas, pero a veces siento la necesidad de hacer stickers que me ayuden en mi crecimiento personal, suelo llamarles Stikers motivacionales.
You already know that I like to make stickers to paste on my wall of cartoon characters or movies, but sometimes I feel the need to make stickers that help me in my personal growth, I usually call them Motivational Stickers.
Bien sabemos que la disciplina es una herramienta muy importante que debemos tener o desarrollar para logar todo lo que nos proponemos, pero a veces es tan difícil, a mi en lo particular me cuesta mucho ser disciplinada y siento que necesito un cartel con luces de neón que me recuerde que tengo que ser disciplinada para no perder el enfoque.
We all know that discipline is a very important tool that we must have or develop to achieve everything we set out to do, but sometimes it is so difficult, for me in particular it is very hard to be disciplined and I feel like I need a sign with neon lights to remind me that I have to be disciplined so I don't lose focus.
Es por eso que se me ocurrió hacer este stiker motivacional con la palabra displina pero escrita en inglés, o sea, discipline y ponerlo en un lugar donde pueda verlo siempre y recordar que debo ser más disciplinada con mis prácticas de dibujo por ejemplo, esto es como una especie de experimento😆 que espero me ayude a ser más disciplinada. 🙏🏻

Comencé haciendo las letras con un lápiz, a mi ne gusta mucho el lettering aunque no me sale muy bien por la falta de práctica.
I started making the letters with a pencil, I really like lettering although I don't do it very well due to lack of practice.
Luego hice el delineado de cada letra con mi bolígrafo 🖋️ roller. Por cierto uno de los mejores regalos que recibí este año fue ese bolígrafo, sin duda ha sido de mucha ayuda para mejorar la apariencia y acabado de mis dibujos. 😍
Then I did the outlining of each letter with my pen 🖋️ roller. By the way one of the best gifts I received this year was that pen, no doubt it has been very helpful to improve the look and finish of my drawings. 😍
Luego rellene las letras con un bolígrafo de gel color morado, quería que la palabra tuviera un color llamativo y bonito así que me decidí por el morado que es uno de mis colores favoritos.
Then I filled in the letters with a purple gel pen, I wanted the word to have a nice bold color so I went with purple which is one of my favorite colors.
Con la yuda de unas tijeras ✂️ recorte la palabra, como siempre dejando un margen.
With the help of a pair of scissors ✂️ I cut out the word, as always leaving a margin.
Si han visto otros de mis stickers saben que me gusta siempre dejar un borde blanco, pues esta vez hice algo diferente, le añadi color al borde usando los colores que elegí para mi marca que son el morado, rosado y turquesa, los tres en tonos pastel.
If you have seen my other stickers you know that I always like to leave a white border, well this time I did something different, I added color to the border using the colors I chose for my brand which are purple, pink and turquoise, all three in pastel tones.
Me pareció un detalle bastante bonito, también use un morado oscuro para resaltar mas el borde y amarillo en el centro porque me gusta mucho el amarillo para complementar la paleta de colores que elegí.
I thought it was a pretty nice detail, I also used a dark purple to highlight more the border and yellow in the center because I really like yellow to complement the color palette I chose.
Con pega blanca, les recomiendo pega de carpintero diluida en un poquito de agua, pegue la palabra a un cartón fino reciclado, ♻️ siempre recomiendo que reciclen para hacer este tipo de manualidades porque así contribuimos al cuidado del medio ambiente.
With white glue, I recommend carpenter's glue diluted in a little water, glue the word to a thin recycled cardboard, ♻️ I always recommend that you recycle to make this type of crafts because this way we contribute to the care of the environment.
Quite el exceso de cartón y los
forre con papel contact transparente, luego hice el corte final procurando que quedara un corte muy prolijo.

Y así quedo mi sticker motivacional, lo pegue en mi escritorio justo en el monitor de mi computadora para tenerlo a la vista cada vez que me siente a trabajar o a estudiar.

El resultado fue muy hermoso, el color que eligió para las letras está precioso, además me encantó el efecto de brillo que le dió a las letras las hace ver como si fueran de goma de mascar.
