¡Hola a todos en esta maravillosa comunidad de HiveDIY! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una manualidad que considero muy bonita. Me apasiona mucho dibujar y pintar, así que decidí dedicar tiempo a practicar el arte en piedra, o más específicamente, el dibujo sobre piedra. Este tipo de arte ha ganado popularidad recientemente, y pensé ¡por qué no intentarlo! Para mi primer proyecto, elegí pintar una abeja. La razón detrás de esta elección es sencilla: la forma de la piedra que encontré me recordaba a una abeja, además de que es pequeña y encantadora. Me pareció perfecta para colocarla en mi escritorio, así que ya estoy planeando un espacio especial para exhibir mi obra. Quiero que sea un lugar donde pueda ver mi piedrita pintada todos los días y recordar la satisfacción de crear algo con mis propias manos.

A medida que continúo decorando mi escritorio, lo hago poco a poco, incorporando elementos que realmente me gusten. He decidido incluir piedras pintadas como parte de mi decoración porque son únicas y tienen su propia historia. La piedra que elegí para este proyecto en particular la encontré durante un hermoso viaje a la playa. Había muchas piedras en diferentes tamaños y colores, pero esta llamó mi atención por su color negro intenso y su ligereza. La vi allí brillando bajo el sol en la arena y no pude resistirme; supe que debía traerla a casa.

Hello everyone in this wonderful HiveDIY community! Today I want to share with you a craft that I find very beautiful. I am very passionate about drawing and painting, so I decided to spend time practicing stone art, or more specifically, drawing on stone. This type of art has gained popularity recently, and I thought why not give it a try! For my first project, I chose to paint a bee. The reason behind this choice is simple: the shape of the stone I found reminded me of a bee, plus it is small and cute. I thought it was perfect to place on my desk, so I am already planning a special space to display my work. I want it to be a place where I can see my painted stone every day and remember the satisfaction of creating something with my own hands.
As I continue to decorate my desk, I do it little by little, incorporating elements that I really like. I have decided to include painted stones as part of my decoration because they are unique and have their own story. The stone I chose for this particular project was found during a beautiful trip to the beach. There were many stones in different sizes and colors, but this one caught my eye because of its deep black color and lightness. I saw it there, shining in the sun on the sand, and I couldn't resist; I knew I had to bring it home.I'm excited to share this process with you and I hope this idea inspires you to experiment with stone art.

Mientras que yo veía técnicas para dibujar y tener alguna idea me llamo la atención un dato curioso que la verdad me sorprendió,yo pensaba que quien pintaba una piedra era porque quería o algo así no sabía que de verdad es un arte. La técnica de pintar sobre piedras se llama petropicto. El petropicto busca que la forma original de la piedra no se altere, para lograr imágenes tridimensionales. Para pintar piedras, se pueden utilizar distintos tipos de pinturas, como acrílicas, metálicas o corrientes,yo en mi caso utilizaré pintura al frio ya que esa también sirve y también porque no tengo más.

While I was looking at techniques for drawing and getting an idea, I was struck by a curious fact that really surprised me. I thought that whoever painted a stone did so because they wanted to or something like that, I didn't know that it really is an art. The technique of painting on stones is called petropicto. Petropicto seeks to ensure that the original shape of the stone is not altered, in order to achieve three-dimensional images. To paint stones, you can use different types of paints, such as acrylic, metallic or regular. In my case, I will use cold paint since that also works and also because I don't have any more.

• Una piedra del tamaño que prefiera
• Pintura al frio amarillo, blanco y negro
• Pincel uno de punta fina
• Lapiz

• A stone of the size you prefer
• Cold paint in yellow, white and black
• A fine-tipped brush
• A pencil

• Paso nro 1

Primero inicie marcando la forma del cuerpo de la abejita,las alas los ojos. Aquí utilice un color amarillo para que así yo pueda ver el dibujo,ya teniendo listo eso voy a empezar a color la pintura.

• Paso nro 1

First I started by marking the shape of the bee's body, the wings and the eyes. Here I used a yellow color so that I could see the drawing. Once that is ready I will start to color the painting.

• Paso nro 2

Voy a comenzar a pintar con la pintura amarilla las rayas que conforman al cuerpo de la abeja,yo estoy utilizando un delineador que ya estaba seco , y es solo por la punta fina que tiene ya que no tengo pincel,pinte cuidadosamente.

• Paso nro 2

I'm going to start painting the stripes that make up the bee's body with the yellow paint. I'm using an eyeliner that was already dry, and it's only because of the fine tip it has since I don't have a brush. I painted carefully.

• Paso nro 3

Ya aquí se ve la parte del cuerpo de la abeja,ahora con la pintura blanca voy a pintar las alas,y utilizando la parte de la punta de un pincel voy hacer los ojos, y así ya voy teniendo más formada la abejita, a cada momento deje que secara bien la pintura para así no cometer algún accidente.

• Paso nro 3

Now you can see the body part of the bee. Now with the white paint I'm going to paint the wings, and using the tip of a brush I'm going to make the eyes, and so the bee will take shape. I'll let the paint dry thoroughly every now and then so I don't have any accidents.

Por último le hice las pupilas de los ojitos,le hice la boquita,la verdad por ser una piedra negra no tuve que utilizar mucho la pintura negra solo la use para los ojos.

• Paso nro 4

Finally I made the pupils of the eyes, I made the little mouth, the truth is that because it is a black stone I did not have to use much black paint, I only used it for the eyes.

Así quedó mi piedrita de abejita la verdad no fue nada difícil nada complicado,pero si he visto que algunas las pintan con muchos detalles,espero les allá gustado es proyecto está manualidad con piedras,en otra oportunidad espero mostrarles más sobre algunas otras manualidades.

This is how my little bee stone turned out. The truth is that it was not difficult at all, but I have seen that some people paint them with a lot of detail. I hope you liked this project, this craft with stones. On another occasion, I hope to show you more about some other crafts.
