Greetings to all my dear #hive friends, I hope you are feeling well today. For this occasion I will tell you about the nice day I had today; a quiet Sunday of rest that deserves to be told.
Hoy, extrañamente, me levanté mucho más temprano: a las 9 de la mañana en punto. Mi cerebro, irremediablemente activado, se negó a dormir nuevamente. En vista de que mi descanso fue cortado, tomé mi celular y disfruté un momento en la tranquilidad de mi cuarto. A las 11 de la mañana, dos horas después, me levanté, salí del cuarto y me encontré con que mi mamá me había preparado un delicioso desayuno: tequeños con salsa rosada.
Today, strangely enough, I got up much earlier: at 9am sharp. My brain, hopelessly activated, refused to sleep again. In view of the fact that my rest was cut short, I grabbed my mobile phone and enjoyed a moment in the quiet of my room. At 11 a.m., two hours later, I got up, left the room and found that my mother had prepared a delicious breakfast for me: tequeños with pink sauce.

Luego, mi abuela, que aprovecha cada vez que tenemos gasolina en el carro para encargarnos una lista de compra, hoy nos pidió que la lleváramos a comprar unas cuantas cosas que necesitaba para preparar sus deliciosos manjares, así que fuimos a buscarla a su casa para hacer las compras con ella.
Then, my grandmother, who takes advantage of every time we have gas in the car to order us a shopping list, today asked us to take her to buy a few things she needed to prepare her delicious delicacies, so we went to pick her up at her house to do the shopping with her.

Sin embargo, la luz se fue y las cosas se tornaron un poco más difíciles; en los negocios cercanos no había punto de venta activo y tuvimos que dar muchísimas vueltas hasta encontrar un supermercado disponible. Mientras mamá y mi hermano compraban, esperé en el carro en compañía de mi abuela a la vez que contábamos chismes y demás. Para mi sorpresa, mamá llegó al carro con una sorpresa inesperada.
However, the power went out and things became a bit more difficult; the nearby shops had no active sales outlets and we had to walk around a lot until we found an available supermarket. While mum and my brother shopped, I waited in the car with my grandmother as we gossiped and so on. To my surprise, mum came to the trolley with an unexpected surprise.

Fue un detalle muy lindo de mi abuela; siempre que cuenta con los recursos no duda en darnos un gustico a todos.
It was a very nice detail from my grandmother; whenever she has the resources she doesn't hesitate to give us all a treat.
Al llegar a su casa nuevamente para dejarla e irnos a almorzar, nos regaló las cosas necesarias para almorzar un poderoso plato de pasta con su salsa de carne. Mamá y yo tomamos esto con mucha emoción, ya que su salsa es una de las cosas más deliciosas de este mundo.
As we arrived at her house again to drop her off for lunch, she presented us with the necessities for lunch, a mighty plate of pasta with her meat sauce. Mum and I took this with great excitement, as her sauce is one of the most delicious things in the world.

Luego regresamos a nuestra casa, donde mi mamá preparó la pasta corta con la que comimos; el plato se veía espectacular y sabía demasiado bien.
Then we went back to our house, where my mum prepared the short pasta that we ate with; the dish looked spectacular and tasted too good.

Al terminar de comer, preparé mi participación para un concurso en otra comunidad; el concurso trataba de videojuegos memorables, así que me vi en la obligación de buscar en mi infancia alguno de los juegos que me hicieron feliz. Inmediatamente me vino a la mente uno llamado «Nicktoons united!», me emocioné, escribí mi artículo y, queriendo revivir aquellos bellos momentos de mi niñez, invité a mi hermano a jugar esto en nuestros antiguos DSs y pasamos horas en ello.
When I finished eating, I prepared my entry for a contest in another community; the contest was about memorable video games, so I was forced to search my childhood for some of the games that made me happy. Immediately one called "Nicktoons united!" came to mind, I got excited, wrote my entry and, wanting to relive those beautiful moments of my childhood, I invited my brother to play this on our old DSs and we spent hours on it.

Cuando me cansé de jugar (me dolían los pulgares), me bañé para quitarme el cansancio y decidí activarme
When I got tired of playing (my thumbs were hurting), I took a bath to get rid of the tiredness and decided to get active.
Muy emocionada de empezar clases mañana (y un poco temerosa por la cantidad de tareas que se vienen) me despido de ustedes por esta ocasión, mis queridos hive.
