En esta ocasión el equipo de Valthy les presenta su noveno dibujo digital titulado somniantes sub astra que traducido del latín al español significa soñando bajo las estrellas esto por el toque final y totalmente espontaneo que se hizo al final del proceso.
Por otra parte, este retrato continua sumando experiencias y nos mantiene super emocionados con el aprendizaje constante el reto en esta ocasión era darle vida al cabello para esa perspectiva de estar saltando.

On this occasion the Valthy team presents its ninth digital drawing entitled sub astra sleepers which translated from Latin to Spanish means dreaming under the stars this for the final and totally spontaneous touch that is did at the end of the process.
On the other hand, this portrait continues to add experiences and keeps us super excited with constant learning, the challenge this time was to give life to the hair for that perspective of jumping.

1er paso: El boceto, que refleja la idea que tenemos después de tener líneas comprensibles.
1st step: The sketch, which reflects the idea we have after having comprehensible lines.
2do paso: Se hizo un separador de planos pintando en escalas de color gris, para diferenciar de uno al otro el nivel de profundidad, para poder identificar mejor la parte del cuerpo, separándolo en capas e identificando cada una para poder trabajar mejor
2nd step: A plane separator was made by painting in gray scales, to differentiate from one to the other the level of depth, in order to better identify the body part, separating it into layers and identifying each one to work better.
3er paso: Seleccionamos unos tonos base para el cabello, piel y ropa .
3rd step: Select some base tones for hair, skin and clothes.
4to paso: luego se seleccionaron los tonos más claros y oscuros para limitar las zonas de luz y sombras.
4th step: Then we selected the lightest and darkest tones to limit the areas of light and shadows.
5to paso: Mezclar los colores y tonos para darle más suavidad al dibujo esto lo hacemos con una brocha para difuminar.
5th step: Mix the colors and tones to give more smoothness to the drawing. This is done with a blending brush.
6to paso: Comenzamos a detallar las sombras y luces de las mechas del cabello.
6th step: We begin to detail the shadows and highlights of the hair strands.
7to paso: Ajuste los detalles de ojos y nariz.
7th step: Adjust the details of eyes and nose.
8vo paso: Comencé a detallar los labios y las cejas.
8th step: I began to detail the lips and eyebrows.
9no paso: Se detallo mejor el line art en el resto del cuerpo, difuminándolo en algunos sitios hasta que desapareciera y en otros dejándolos (como en la mano) para que se apreciara mejor esta parte del cuerpo, se le coloco textura a la ropa y por ultimo se creo un fondo totalmente diferente a la foto de referencia, se puede apreciar que las flores en el cabello las decidimos cambiar por un aspecto más espacial al igual que el resto del fondo.
9th step: The line art in the rest of the body was detailed better, blurring it in some places until it disappeared and in others leaving them (like in the hand) so that this part of the body could be better appreciated, texture was added to the clothes and finally a totally different background to the reference photo was created, you can see that the flowers in the hair we decided to change them for a more spatial aspect as well as the rest of the background.
Este fue todo el proceso del noveno dibujo, disfrutamos mucho el proceso y quedamos muy satisfechos con el resultado sobre todo por que hemos visto como vamos evolucionando en pequeños pasos, esperamos les guste, si están interesados en compartir alguna imagen que quisieran que hiciéramos solo avísenos en los comentarios!
