Hello friends today i bring to you another Diy hack (home decor edition) ...and in today episode i am sharing with you a detailed picture tutorial on how to diy fake vines at home for your home decoration, if you would like to see how i made the fake vines in the picture below read on.
• Materials Needed
So guys to make the fake vine you want to have the necessary materials together, and for the process we are going to be using the materials listed below...
•Leave green coloring of any medium
- A4 sketch book
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Thread
- Glue
- Measuring tape
•Step by step process
*Starting of in the first step i cut of a page from the sketch book
*in the second step i drew a mimick of vine leave shapes all over the sheet with a pencil ,in dif
ferent sizes...your shapes do not have to be perfect, as “imperfect” is better because real vine leaves do not come in the same shapes and sizes
*in the third step i used a scissors to trace-cut the shapes i drew off the sheet and i cut out 40 fake sheet leaves i drew with the pencil
*After cutting out the leaves i used my green colouring medium to colour the front and back of the fake leaves...the colouring process took me about a day to complete as i took break in between...i eventually ended up using watercolor medium for my coloring
And this is the result of the colored fake leaves!!
*after colouring the leaves i moved on to gluing them onto the thread i had already prepared
To glue them i had used a thread of 60 Inches lon g and a glue...this length totally depends on the measurement of your hanging area..since i wanted to hange this fake vine on rail 60 inches long, the total length of the was 112 incehs as i wanted some excess to hang down the rail and the excess where each 26 inches eachlong
So i used the glue to glue the leaves onto the thread spacing them about 2 and half inches apart And the process was finally finished !
This is the result !
You can also color the thread greento match the leaves and go ahead and use this method to create more depending on the number of vine decorations you want .
