I have always liked drawing, it has been a good hobby for a long time. At school, my homework and assignments always had to be accompanied by images, whatever the subject or topic, and I love having lots of colors, markers, pens, highlighters, etc. and even though I am at university I still enjoy decorating my objects.
I have told you in previous posts that I am taking a Frontend course, on Saturdays, and this course lasts 10 months. With my second class I wanted to decorate the cover of my first notebook and today I will tell you how I did it.

Siempre me ha gustado dibujar, ha sido un buen pasatiempos durante muchísimo tiempo. En el colegio, mis tareas y trabajos siempre tenían que ir acompañados con imágenes, sea cual sea la materia o tema, y me encanta tener muchos colores, marcadores, estilógrafos, resaltadores, etc. y aunque estoy en la Universidad igualmente disfruto decorar mis objetos.
Les he comentado en posts anteriores que estoy realizando un curso de Frontend, los días sábados, y este curso dura 10 meses. Ya con mi segunda clase quise decorar la portada de mi primer cuaderno de apuntes y hoy les cuento como lo hice.
This is my Kuromi notebook, I love it, I love everything from Sanrio, I would like to have everything, absolutely everything from Sanrio. I will decorate this notebook on the first page with the name of the course, and I will use colors, highlighters, a stylograph, a ruler, scissors, and a glue stick.
I will also use the Canva App to make some stickers that I will print on my Epson L3210 printer, but it is optional.

Este es mi cuaderno de Kuromi, lo amo, amo todo lo de Sanrio, me gustaría tener todo, absolutamente todo de Sanrio. Este cuaderno lo decoraré en la primera página con el nombre del curso, y utilizaré colores, resaltadores, estilógrafo, regla, tijera y pega en barra.
También utilizaré la App de Canva, para hacer algunos stickers que imprimiré en mi impresora Epson L3210 , pero es opcional.
First I made a sketch on a white sheet of paper of what I wanted to do, and then I drew it on the first page of the notebook. I used a little pencil so as not to dirty my drawing.

Primero hice un boceto en una hoja blanca de lo que quería hacer, y luego lo realicé en la primera página del cuaderno. Afincando poco el lápiz para no ensuciar mi dibujo.
My design, as you can see, is a very chubby and plump kitten, which is grey. I colored it that color and added details with a stylus. I drew a laptop, which I colored pink and purple.
A box with some dots that contains the course, and above it the name of the course, which is Frontend. I also drew some tech details.

Mi diseño como ven es un gatito, bien gordito y rechoncho, que es de color gris, lo coloreé de ese color y le hice los detalles con el estilógrafo. Dibujé una Laptop, que coloreé de colores rosa y lila.
Una caja con algunos puntos que contiene el curso, y arriba el nombre de curso que es Frontend. También, dibujé algunos detalles tech.
In the Canva app, I chose some elements with the name "pink tech." I loved several of them, not all of them are going to be used on this cover, but I printed them to take advantage of the resources.
Then, I printed them on letter-sized paper, on normal paper. But the ideal thing is to print them on self-adhesive paper, which by the way I have pending to buy for other projects.

En la App de Canva, elegí algunos elementos con el nombre "tech rosado". Me encantaron varios, no todos los voy a utilizar en esta portada, pero los imprimí para aprovechar los recursos.
Luego, los imprimí en hoja tamaño carta, en hoja normal. Pero lo ideal es imprimirlos en papel autoadhesivo, que por cierto tengo pendiente de comprar para otros proyectos.
As I mentioned, I printed on letter-sized paper, and since it wasn't on self-adhesive paper, I had to cut it out and glue it with a glue stick, which I like to glue paper to paper.
I used a few elements. If you have the Canva App, I recommend that you look for elements that suit your interests and make your own stickers. It's really cool to have exactly what you want. This is something you can do in Canva's Pro version, and there are also a lot of elements available in the free version.

Como les mencioné, imprimí en hoja tamaño carta, y como no fue en papel autoadhesivo, me tocó recortar y pegar con pegamento en barra, que me gusta para pegar papel a papel.
Usé algunos elementos, les recomiendo si tienen Canva App, buscar elementos de acuerdo a sus intereses, y hacer sus propios Stickers, en muy cool tener exactamente lo que deseamos. Esto es algo que puedes hacer en Canva en su versión Pro y también hay muchísimos elementos disponibles en su versión gratuita.

I love this Kawaii or Cute style, I have it on all my things, and I don't care if you think it's childish, I think I'll love this style forever.
I know older people who are obsessed with drawing or illustration styles, I even have a cousin who is a super fan of Hello Kitty, and she's much older than me. There are also athletes and artists, who are faithful to their tastes, regardless of their age. So, you have to do what you like, and you don't know what possibilities you may have in the future, remember that today everything is visual.

Aquí les muestro cómo quedó mi portada para mi cuaderno del curso de Frontend. Está súper tierno, me encantó.
Este estilo Kawaii o Cute me encanta, yo lo tengo en todas mis cosas, y no me importa si creen que es algo infantil, creo que este estilo lo amaré por siempre.
Conozco a personas mayores que se obsesionan con estilos de dibujos o ilustraciones, incluso tengo una prima súper fan de Hello Kitty, y es mucho mayor que yo. También hay deportistas y artistas, que son fieles a sus gustos, sin importar su edad. Así que, hay que hacer lo que nos gusta, y uno no sabe las posibilidades que puede tener a futuro, recuerden que hoy todo es visual.
I do a lot of things like this, and I also draw more freely when I need to express some feelings, some people write, but I draw, it's very liberating and calming.
