hello good night to all this great creative community, I hope you are having a productive start to the week in the hive. Today I bring you a new post on how to make a decorative mirror for our home with recycled materials such as cardboard and paper, I hope you like it and welcome.

hola buenas noches para toda esta grandiosa comunidad creativa, espero estén teniendo un comienzo de semana productivo en la colmena. Hoy les traigo un nuevo post de como hacer un espejo decorativo para nuestro hogar con materiales de reciclaje como cartón y papel, espero les guste y bienvenidos.

To start this project I will make some tubes from old magazine sheets, for this I will help myself with a pencil by rolling it from one corner to the other and thus forming a paper tube.

Para iniciar este proyecto hare algunos tubos de hojas de revistas viejas, para esto me ayudare con un lápiz enrollándolo desde una esquina hasta la otro y así formare un tubo de papel.

This is how these paper tubes turned out, I made about 20 in total.

Así me quedaron estos tubos de papel hice como unos 20 en total.

After having all the necessary paper tubes, I painted them black with cold paint.

Luego de tener todos los tubos de papel necesarios los pinte de negro con pintura al frio.

Now I will shape these tubes into metal bars so for this I will use a small container of paint to round and flatten them.

Ahora les daré como forma de rejas de metal a estos tubos así que para esto usare un pequeño envase de pintura para redondearlas y aplanarlas.

This is how they were after doing the rounding and flattening work.

Así quedaron después de hacerle el trabajo de redondeado y aplanado.

Now I will take the measurement on the cardboard with the mirror and then cut it out. I will leave the measurement of the mirror in the center and outwards I will mark another space of 1.5 centimeters to place a corrugated cardboard tab.

Ahora tomare con el espejo la medida en el cartón para luego recortarlo dejare en el centro la medida de el espejo y hacia afuera marcare otro espacio de 1,5 centímetros para colocarle una pestaña de cartón corrugado.

+Glue these details to the cardboard box with hot glue.*

Pegue estos detalles al cuadro de cartón con silicón caliente.

When joining these pieces this was the result. I shaped it like old bars.

Al unir estas piezas este fue el resultado. Le di forma como de rejas antiguas.

With corrugated cardboard I made some tabs to place them along the edge of the mirror. These eyelashes are glued with hot silicone.

Con cartón corrugado le hice unas pestañas para colocarlas por el borde de el espejo. Estas pestañas las pegue con silicón calientes.

Mark some circles on kraft paper to make some flowers and decorate my little mirror.

Marque unos círculos en papel kraft para hacer unas flores y decorar mi espejito.

I made some details to these flowers with cold paints.

Le hice algunos detalles a estas flores con pinturas al frio.

Also cut out shapes from sheets of kraft paper.

También recorte formas de hojas de papel kraft.

Color these leaves green.

Pinte de verde estas hojas.

Now we only have to place the final details and the mirror in the center.

Ahora solo nos queda colocar los detalles finales y el espejo en el centro.

And here I show you the final result, I hope you like it, it is very useful and decorative for our home and also for its elaboration we only need things that we usually have at home.

Y aquí les muestro el resultado final espero les guste es muy útil y decorativo para nuestro hogar y además para su elaboración solo necesitamos cosas que por lo general tenemos en casa.
