Years ago, we made some shelves at home by buying complete pieces of MDF and having them cut to the size of the shelves we were planning to install with metal bases, and there were always scraps left over that I asked them not to throw away since at some point I was going to do something with them.
Today I finally decided to start giving them a use, although I had never done it before, I wanted to start using them because I feel that they were going to start deteriorating. The inspiration was a stencil with the word "Paris" and a decorative element cut with laser that I told myself I had to use no matter what. I invite you to see this post about DIY Decorative Sign... Hace años mi casa realizábamos algunas repisas comprando las piezas completas de mdf y mandándolas a cortar a la medida de las repisas que teníamos pensado instalar con unas bases metálicas, y siempre quedaban retazos que les pedía no botar ya que en algún momento iba a realizar algo con ellas.
Hoy finalmente me decidí a empezar a darles utilidad, aunque nunca lo había hecho quise comenzar a aprovecharlas porque siento que ya se iba a empezar a deteriorar. La inspiración fue un esténcil con la palabra "Paris" y un elemento decorativo cortado con láser que me dije que tenía que aprovechar si o si. The MDF board I'm decorating, I first applied a little sandpaper and cleaned it.
Then, I applied two coats of cold white paint, until it was well covered. These two coats were enough.
I mixed a little petunia blue cold paint and white, to tone down the color a little.
La tabla de mdf que estoy decorando, primero le apliqué un poco de lija, y limpié.
Luego, apliqué dos manos de pintura al frio de color blanco, hasta cubrir bien. Con estas dos capas fue suficiente.
Mezclé un poco de pintura al frio azul petunia y de blanco, para rebajar un poco el color.

Once I have the desired blue color, I place the stencil where I want it and with a piece of sponge I take a little paint, first I put it somewhere so that there is little paint left on the sponge, and with small touches I go over the whole word Paris, which is on the stencil.
You have to be very careful not to move the stencil, if necessary you can secure it with adhesive tape, the important thing is that it does not move. I was able to keep it fixed with just my hand.
Al tener el color azul deseado. Ubico el esténcil donde deseo y con un trozo de esponja tomo un poco de pintura, primero descargo en algún lugar para que sea poca la pintura que quede en la esponja, y con toques pequeños voy recorriendo toda la palabras Paris, que tiene el esténcil.
Hay que tener mucho cuidado de no mover el esténcil, si es necesario puedes fijar con cinta adhesiva, lo importante es que no se mueva. Yo pude mantenerlo fijo solo con mi mano.

There is a wooden figure cut in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, I painted it white, applied glue and then applied two colors of glitter.
I accompanied the word Paris with lines of pink glitter and let it dry well.
Hay una figura de madera cortado con forma de Torre Eiffe, la pinté de color blanco, le apliqué pega y luego apliqué dos colores de escarcha.
Acompañé la palabra Paris, con líneas de escarcha rosada y dejé secar bien.

To make it more interesting or stand out more, I also went over some parts of the word Paris irregularly.
I also used the sponge to dab around the entire board so that it wasn't just plain white.
Among the materials I mentioned a napkin with butterflies, so I cut out 4 of them and glued them in different places. I also put glitter in the corresponding colors, with white glue.
Para darle más interés o destacar más, también repasé de forma irregular algunas partes de la palabra Paris.
También con la esponja realicé toques alrededor de toda la tabla para que no quedara simplemente blanca.
Entre los materiales les mencioné sobre una servilleta con mariposas, pues recorté 4 de ellas y las pegué en diferentes lugares. También le coloqué escarcha de los colores correspondientes, con pega blanca.

Ya está lista esta tabla decorada, podía seguir colocándole elementos decorativos. Tomé muchas fotos para lograr conseguir o capturar lo bello que brillan las escarchas.
I'm just starting to make these decorative elements, I want to continue to advance progressively and improve, and of course create content about this progress.
But for now I'm satisfied with the result and how it looks on the wall.
Estoy empezando a realizar estos elementos decorativos, deseo seguir avanzando progresivamente y mejorar, y por supuesto crear contenido sobre estos progresos.
Pero por ahora estoy satisfecha con el resultado y como luce en la pared.
