They also make them in fabric, but I preferred the frosted foam. Easier to manipulate, it has a beautiful shine and is super light. Ideal for decorating a display case, also a door, etc. For us Venezuelans, the little tree is something so special that it cannot be missed! It is the joy of the little ones in the house. Sigo decorando mi árbol y les voy a mostrar como hacer este espectacular lazo que esta en tendencia en esta época, los hacen tambien en tela, pero preferí el foami escarchado. Mas fácil de manipular, tiene un brillo precioso y super liviano. Ideal para una decoración de vitrina también una puerta etc. Para nosotros los venezolanos el arbolito es algo tan especial que no puede faltar! es la alegría de los pequeños de la casa.A pesar de la situación, siempre habrá un motivo que nos impulse a llevar la alegría a nuestras fiestas navideñas y si haces con tus propias manos la satisfacción personal.

Materials / Materiales:

2 sheets of frosty green foam 80 x 60, 3 1/2 sheets of frosty red foam, 1 1/2 sheets of frosty white foam, 2 silicone bars, scissors, nylon cord.

2 laminas de foami verde escarchado de 80 x 60, 3 1/2 laminas de foami rojo escarchado, 1 1/2 lamina de foami blanco escarchado, 2 barras de silicon, tijera, cordón de nylon.

Process / Procedimiento:

First we must sit at a table or counter to work comfortably. Fold the frosted foam sheet in half.

Primeramente debemos ubicarnos en una mesa o mesón para trabajar con comodidad. Doblar la lámina de foami escarchado a la mitad.

Cut the sheet in half to obtain two exactly equal pieces.

Cortar la lámina a la mitad para obtener dos piezas exactamente iguales.

Make several folds on one of the edges and fix them with the help of silicone.

Hacer varios pliegues en uno de los bordes y con la ayuda del silicon fijarlos.

Use the cord to tie the end to ensure it does not come loose.

Con el cordón hacer un amarre en la punta para asegurar que no se suelte.

Do the same with the other cut to have the first two parts of the bow.

De igual manera hacer con el otro corte para así tener las dos primeras partes del lazo.

Do the same procedure for the folds and tie with the frosty red foam.

Hacer el mismo procedimiento de los pliegues y amarre con el foami rojo escarchado.

To have two more pieces of the bow.

Para tener dos piezas mas del lazo.

Join the two pieces with enough silicone.

Unir las dos piezas con suficiente silicon.

The two green pieces are also joined together, place the red bow on the green one.

Las dos piezas verdes también van unidas, colocar el lazo rojo sobre el verde.

Cut the frosted foam sheet in half.

Cortar la lamina de foami escarchado a la mitad.

Place the white foam in the center of the bow, securing with silicone.

Colocar el foami blanco en el centro del lazo, fijando con silicon.

So that the white band holds the two ties well.

De manera que la banda blanca sujete bien los dos lazos.

With the other green sheet, make the ends of the bow by cutting the sheet in half and making V cuts at the ends.

Con la otra lámina verde, hacer las puntas del lazo cortando la lámina a la mitad y hacerle cortes en V en las puntas.

Place some strips of red and white foam at the bottom of the tips.

Colocar unas listas de foami rojo y blanco en la parte baja de las puntas.

At the top place a white and a red stripe with the rest of the leftover material.

En la parte superior colocar una franja blanca y otra roja con el resto de material que sobró.

Make a tie at the top to ensure it does not come loose.

Hacer un amarre en la parte superior para asegurar que no se suelte.

Join the bow with the ends with the bow, with enough silicone

Unir el lazo con las puntas con el lazo, con suficiente silicon
