During the second lockdown, I got into custom mechanical keyboards. It all started with a video by Squashy Boy on YouTube. I actively watched him at this time because I was a lot into osu! Then he began to make videos about keyboards. It was that good, it pulled me into the deep rabbit hole that mechanical keyboards are.
Since then, I've built two keyboards. They are all about preference. You can change everything. Some mods are easier than others, but over all, it isn't that hard. As soon as I can afford a soldering iron, I will try to build an ergonomic keyboard like the open source Dactyl.
