Finishing the 15hr drive to Oregon

Yesterday I drove 10hours and around 100m got tired and went to bed (which is easy when you tow an airstream trailer) this morning at 5:30am I got going again.
I was going through some sparsely populated countryside in Northern California and this is a bit of what it looks like from my cellphone though that barn/river scene was so amazing I did bring out the big camera and hopefully they turned out this good.

It's been a couple hours so technically it may not apply to C/On the Spot community but hey not a ton of action there so a couple hour spread isn't too big a deal.

And if you're wondering about gas in California it's as bad as you expect specially in small farming towns for from the city sadly.

Oh and during the last month in Turkey Lebanon and Uganda there wasn't really an opportunity to make it to church so it's nice being here this morning

Oregon is very beautiful country. I had an uncle that lived in Klamath Falls we use to visit when I was a kid.

If you think that gas was expensive my cousin in the North Bay Area is paying $5.50 a gallon!!! It's actually cheaper in the rural areas that don't have to pay the additional city taxes on top of the state taxes!!! Have a great trip and if you get the chance to drive past Crater Lake it's pretty cool!

Some great sunrise shots by the way. Photos always seem crisper and sharper in cold weather.

I have family in kfalls and I lived there 20 years ago for a couple years. It can be beautiful in the winter

Impressing photos. I almost feel the cold of the winter there just by looking at them! Prices might go up again after the 1st of January 2022. I've heard some news that the gas might go expensive once again.

Wonderful seeing the snow in the mountains! I grew up in Oregon, and am still homesick for it, even though I've now lived 2/3 or my life away.

Dang those are crazy gas prices!

Very nice! Looks like fun - those prices, however, do not look like fun

Yeah agreed

I am always baffled when Americans complain about the gas price. In my country, one gallon is 6.5$ and the minimum wage is 1016$. How about that :) The only plus-size is our cars are on the more normal scale about 5-6 liters per 100km consumption not like US 6liter monsters :)
