Famili Chlorocyphidae

A few days ago, while exploring the Lancok forest, I found this dragonfly perched on a leaf. What's interesting, this is the first time I have seen dragonflies from the Chlorocyphidae family in person!

The body color was striking—a combination of black with a metallic blue-green glow that seemed to change depending on the angle of the light. His eyes were big and dark, as if he was watching my movements. Its wings are slightly brownish, contrasting with its slender and elegant body.

I spent some time observing his movements. This dragonfly is not too aggressive, staying in one place more often before finally flying to another leaf. Maybe because it was still early in the morning and the air was quite cool, so his movements weren't too agile.

This moment is quite special for me, because every time I discover something new in nature, it feels like I get a small gift from the universe. If you have friends who have discovered species from this family, please share your story!

NOTE: I first wrote the article above in Indonesian, which is my own language, then I translated it using English with the help of Goggle.
