Greetings, friends of this community of observers of natural life. Today I am sharing with you some photographs that I took on New Year's Eve. It was early in the morning and while I was cleaning the garden, I came across this beautiful butterfly that kindly allowed me to get closer and take some photos in macro mode.

When checking on Google Lens it suggested a genus: Pteronymia , this according to Wikipedia groups butterflies with transparent wings, of which there are many species and varieties.

The model

They are also known as Crystal Wing Butterflies, since their main characteristic is that a large part of their wings are transparent, giving them a lot of beauty, and the sensation that they carry a stained glass window on them.

Its scientific name may be Pteronymia medellina, I was looking at some photos and the resemblance is very close in the shades and the transparent spaces in its wings.

Photoshoot

I worked in macro mode, with 2X zoom. The model allowed me to get quite close, but I could only get side shots. The editing was done with Lightroom to liven up the colors.
