Ducetia japonica is the scientific name of a type of insect that belongs to the grasshopper group. Although this name is not very popular among the general public, this insect has a quite attractive and unique appearance. In terms of appearance, this insect has a slender and rather long body with a color bright green and some sides of the body are light yellow, so the colors are a perfect combination and really allow the insect to camouflage among the leaves from predator attacks.

Ducetia japonica is generally found in cool and shady places, they are usually among young leaves where they hide and devour fresh leaves, actually these insects are more active at night and occasionally they make a distinctive sound from behind the bushes, as insects nocturnal so Ducetia japonica spends more of their time among dense foliage.
