The droughts in Cuba become more frequent and prolonged, we are now in the dry period, when rainfall is scarce.This situation, added to human action, causes fires in natural areas, including forested areas both in the plain and in the mountains.In recent weeks, we have witnessed numerous fires in the Sierra Maestra and other areas of Granma, events that leave incalculable damage to our biodiversity.
