Description of the object:
Hello observation friends, this time I will share about a black beetle with fiery red spots on its body.

Where we are in Aceh, Indonesia, we usually call them fire beetles or burning beetles because their color is like the shape of fire, but for each region the name for this beetle will be different.

In scientific language, these beetles are known as "Erotylidae". This beetle belongs to the Coleoptera family which has more than 100 genera. Within current boundaries, it includes the previously independent families Cryptophilidae, Languriidae, Loberidae, Pharaxonothidae, and Xenoscelidae as subfamilies.

This beetle has many types of body shapes and flame colors. In other words, the narrowly defined Erotylidae is related to the subfamily Erotylinae sensu lato.
