Wishing everyone a good night, I am making today's regular photography observation post. I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah Almighty. Alhamdulillah, I am also well by the grace of Allah Almighty with everyone's prayers.
I had a great moment. That day was Hili Hatbar. I also have to go to the raw market in need of vegetables. The winter market is full of many vegetables. I saw this vegetable in a shop, standing like this on one side of the shop and arranged for sale. I know it and know about this vegetable well. I have eaten it many times. Even then, I pretended not to know. Now I asked the shopkeeper Vaste, what is this? The shopkeeper Vaste said with a smile, you will not recognize it. Its name is Mati Alu Some people call it Mete Alu, Gach Alu, Gunja Alu, Pura Alu and many other names.
It can be cooked and eaten like potatoes. It is very tasty to eat. While talking to the shopkeeper, I took a picture with my mobile phone camera. So that everyone including friends can enjoy this beautiful vegetable growing underground. Now I present it as a gift.
Google search reveals that the scientific name of this vegetable is - Dioscorea alata
Enjoy.
