Surattense Nightshade
The fruit of the Contikari(কন্টিকারি) tree. When ripe, the skin or bark of the fruit falls off. Then the fruit is seen to be of such a dark pink color. Again after a few days, the seeds inside dry up and fall out. I think, This is the first picture of Contikari fruit on this platform. It is a wild-growing medicinal plant. Scattered all over Bangladesh, this plant grows during the monsoon season. Because this tree has thorns everywhere, in our area this tree is known as Sheyal Kata.
