Good afternoon everyone, on my trip today I found quite a lot of flowers and are often considered weeds, even though these flowers also have their own charm, these flowers are Tridax procumbens or in our language they are called songgolangit.
When I went to my friend's boarding house, I found a flower that we often see in plantation areas or areas beside roads, I immediately took a photo to capture the moment of the beautiful flower, although it is called a flower, it is rarely used as an ornamental plant.
The uses are:Initially it was known as a nuisance plant or weed. It was only in 1906 that coffee farmers in Tasmania, America, used songgolangit as a ground cover. Because of its abundance, the people around the plantation used it as animal feed.
But what is clear in Java, especially in eastern Java, healers often use songgolangit as a herbal mixture. This plant also spread quickly on the island of Java because it is easy to grow, especially in areas that are exposed to enough sun enjoy its beauty.
