Grass demon | Udaspes folus

Hello everyone, good afternoon wherever you are, how are you this afternoon? Hope you are fine wherever you are.

I"m back here again and on this occasion I want to show you some beautiful shots of the grass demon butterfly. Grass demon is an interesting name, I think the name refers to the place where the butterfly is often found. As I found, the butterfly was in a wild grass garden on the side of the road. This butterfly is also one of the butterflies that is easy to find, especially in tropical areas, one of which is Indonesia. In Latin, this butterfly is known as Udaspes folus which comes from the Hesperiidae family.

The color of this butterfly is very beautiful, namely its whole body is brown and its wings are decorated with an attractive white pattern. Actually, the pattern is simple but striking. The lighter pattern color manages to provide contrast to the brown color of this beautiful butterfly's wings. When exposed to soft sunlight, it looks even more stunning. The green background also succeeded in making the butterfly look more graceful on my camera screen.

Apart from that, this butterfly also has an interesting way of flying, it flies at super sharp speed and uses a zigzag pattern. They often fly low between the plants where they live, for example they live in grassy areas, meaning their flying height only reaches the tops of the grass. They fly looking for a safe zone, a zone where it is easy to hide if a predator wants to chase them. Now let's look at the beauty of the butterflies below👇
