Praying mantis

Hello everyone good afternoon....

I am here again and on this occasion I have a praying mantis. Have you ever seen this grasshopper? The praying mantis is one of the unique grasshoppers of the many grasshoppers I have ever encountered. His front legs are bent like someone who is praying. Maybe he was praying for delicious food to come soon. This grasshopper is truly extraordinary. I'm sure the name this grasshopper has is taken from this characteristic. I rarely see a grasshopper that raises its legs like that for a long time.

Apart from that, the body posture of this grasshopper is also quite good, its body is long and slender. The long legs also add elegance to this grasshopper. This grasshopper is very different from other grasshoppers that I often encounter, this grasshopper has large front legs and sharp spines. Meanwhile, the hind legs are small and slender. Its large eyes and long antennae are also very attractive.

There is one more interesting thing, this grasshopper has a flexible neck, it can turn its head around easily. As for its habitat, this grasshopper also likes places filled with green plants. Because these grasshoppers will also prey on other insects that are smaller in size, one of which is mosquitoes. For the color that this grasshopper has, you can see directly in the picture that I attached below👇
