Hello everyone, good afternoon wherever you are, how are you this afternoon? Hope you are fine wherever you are.
I am here again and on this occasion I want to show you some beautiful shots of stink bugs. One of the insects that rice farmers fear. These insects are very dangerous for rice plants, usually they attack when the rice plants are entering the fruiting period. If they attack and are not immediately eradicated, it will have fatal consequences, the rice fruit will not contain flesh and it will end in crop failure.
Apart from attacking rice plants, this insect will also attack other plants such as corn, long beans, green beans and soybeans. If they succeed in attacking the plant it will also have fatal consequences, the same as what happens to rice plants. Stink bugs are sap-eating insects, they use their proboscis or needle-shaped mouthparts to pierce fruit, in order to suck out the liquid contained in the fruit, for example rice seeds. In fact, sometimes not only the fruit is damaged, but the tree also dies.
Even though it is known as a nuisance pest, this stink bug is an insect that has a good body, its body is elongated and slender. Its long legs make this insect's appearance more attractive. In Latin, this insect is known as Leptocorisa oratoria which comes from the Alydidae family.
