The "8-Bit" era is about to begin in the Pixelverse
For everyone who missed our announcement post you can quickly catch up with the "Pixelverse" in our latest post.
🛍️ Packs and License Sale
The official packs/license sale will go live on Tuesday, Dec 12th. We have not fixed a specific time but expect the Shop page on the official website to be ready around 9-10am UTC.
- Game Dev Studio License: Cost $8 USD, includes 1 license and 1 free Starter Pack
- "8-Bit" Era Pack: Cost $3 USD, includes a team member, an accessory and some "PXL Coins"
At launch the only payment method in the shop will be HIVE. Support for HBD can be added later on if requested by the community.
As discussed in our previous post the game will not be immediately playable at launch and the in-game Marketplace will only be available later on. But starting from next week we'll start the rollout of some core game mechanics as part of our open Beta.
Everyone who purchased a license will be able to join the open Beta and experience the game first hand as the team keep working on it.
There is a bonus for bulk purchases?
No, there is no pack bonus for bulk purchases. But there is a bonus for bulk pack opening when using the "default" recruiter (+4% when opening 100+ packs and +5% when opening 200+ packs).
📖 Rulebook (1st draft)
In the past few days we worked hard to complete the first version of the game Rulebook. A single comprehensive document that include all game details, mechanics and gameplay info. You can check it out at: https://rulebook.riseofthepixels.com
While some details are still missing and will be filled over the coming days we think this will cover many aspect of the game that you may want to checkout before joining the pack sale:
