This difference needs to come from somewhere especially since the developers need to live from something as well.
Another thing to keep in mind with zing is that developers don't get paid in zing, they get hive from one of the many ways it'll earn them in the future compared to just curation rewards currently.
and yes, as for the rest it'll be a balancing game, we hope that it will be a mix of how well trained and rare your creatures, healer items and talents are and a mix of skill and ingame knowledge with a little bit of luck sprayed on top.
It'll definitely be an interesting challenge but we have quite the edge over other "web3" games in some aspects, imo.
Definetely. As long as new developments are comming and you can keep up the steady stream of news all will work out. Even though started last you may become the first pokemon like game going into BETA and afterwards live status.
The plans are that our "beta" will still be "live" but restricted. I.e. you won't be able to roam around and capture and fight creatures at your heart's content, but limited encounters daily to make sure everything's running smoothly while we work on the next steps. This should also give people who are already registered and have purchased a starter pack and healer a chance to get some training and capturing going while making use of their zing and trading and playing their way up to more.
