RE: Thoughts on referral rewards and trading fees on the market

Most nft's on hive-engine have fees, without fees I could pretend an nft was sold thousand times over and over by buying it on alt accounst and increasing the price each time attempting to trick newbies that it's valuable to get them to buy it at 1000% premium, etc. That's washtrading and why it's important to not make it possible.

I don't think so it is the case, if it would be then Splinterlands NFTs would have a cost of a fortune. But, anyway that was my though, I shared with you and hope you have many more like this, but as for I feel that it may be good for new users to have a fee-less structure. Thanks

I'm pretty sure splinterland nfts also have a market fee, that's how/why secondary marketplaces like peakmonsters can operate and make some hive to continue running. I'm not 100% sure, though but it's common practice to avoid washtrading.

That fee is only for placing an NFT in the market, for sale and rent out, which is quite nominal around 1 DEC and there are no other charges when placing an order to buy or rent.
