For this piece I started with an open and quite simple sketch in the typical blue colour, after that I made a basic outline and modified the main layer to get the paper effect, I must admit that I like this result much more.
With the layer I started to put the solid colours, in this kind of format I usually blur very little keeping the hard shadows without transition between the tones. I kept everything the same except the ice area, for this effect I did put some blurring and I think the result was quite nice.
